Miami Beach hotel with water sports rentals and sparkling water views
This Miami Beach hotel has the Atlantic Ocean on one side and the city and Intracoastal Waterway on the other. As such, the hotel treats guests to partial or full views from every room. The traditional but not formal property has 424 rooms. The Miami Beach Resort & Spa plays up its waterfront space, offering guests a sports center for boat, Jet Ski and parasailing rentals and a heated outdoor pool. The hotel also provides cabana rentals for lingering in the sun. For nightlife, visitors are just three miles from scene-fueled South Beach.

Great View!
We had an ocean/pool view room. The view was very breath-taking. We ordered room service and had breakfast infront of the window looking at the ocean, palm trees and pool areas. We would definitely stay there again.

Heats fan.
Last minute spring break.
Booked this on a last minute. Only stayed 3 nights but it was worth it & wished to have stayed longer. Will go back in the future.

Spring Break
My best friend and I stayed at this hotel March 20-23 for our Spring Break. We really didn't want an expensive hotel because we were hardly going to be staying in our room. I'm not sure how much money we paid per night because we had bought a package deal that included flight and hotel. This hotel was pretty nice. The staff were friendly. I called and asked for towels and a few hours later, they called my room back just to verify that we got our towels. I read reviews about there being "out-of-date" furniture and so forth, I would have to say that that complaint was petty. It was nice that the beach was in our backyard. The food was descent. The staff at the restaurant right outside of the hotel were extremely nice! I wouldn't mind staying there again.

We bussed it...but we met a few party promoters that hooked us up with some great deals. One night we paid $30 to ride in a limo to a club, have free drinks for 2 hours, no wait in line, and see Yo Gotti, Michael Oher, and some other NFL player. But I've heard mixed reviews, so be careful.

Great week end get away
great hotel... my wife and i had so much fun. nice price.. the staff was great... the hotel was awesome except the tube 27 inch and the pink bathroom with black and white ceramic tile. beside that... great vacation.

rent a scooter. for $60 dollars a day . you cant beat it.if you drive its hard to find a spot to park. valet is $20 + at some restaurants and clubs. taxi to and from the hotel to the wet willies is $15 each way.. rent a scooter.. save money.

Couldn't check in, really??
I have been AROUND. And I have NEVER been to a hotel where the system has been "down" so that guests can't check in and have to wait hours to get into their room. But there's more... we were told to come back in a few hours... You would think you'd get at least a voucher for a free drink in one of their restaurants or bars. But not only didn't we get a THING, their restaurants were closed. My husband had to work a little on their wifi, and that was down too until 1:00 am. UNBELIEVABLE. Location is great, but customer service leaves a lot to be desired for the money you are paying. Stay at the Grand Beach Miami, it's next door , about same price and you'd NEVER have to wait hours for your room!!!

Don't overpay for Fontainebleau or Eden Roc... this one was less than half, and so is Grand Miami Beach....but this being said, you might have the bad luck we had and have the system down.

Not so great experience!
I have a few stories from my staying at this hotel. First room that I got was already occupied by other guests; next room was by the elevator with no warning or solution when I complained (I was on a business trip and needed a good night sleep); the housekeeping entered the room although the privacy sign was on the door. I believe you got the big picture. The hotel is kind of old but the rooms are not so bad and the location is pretty good. It is a pity they are so disorganized, that's the worst!
