decent hotel
great location, right across from the beach. There is noise in the mornings as the trash is picked up early in the outside dumpster and it is quite loud. No refrigerator, coffee maker, or complimentary breakfast. Two beds were in the room, as well as a table and four hard chairs. No soft chairs to chill in while you eat or take a break from the beach. Great location, but the hotel doesn't provide any food or place to keep food. There is a nice food store downstairs though that you can buy things at.

better deals on food are away from ocean drive. Ocean drive is the most expensive.

Don't let the stars fool you
I have no complaints about this hotel. Best bang for your buck in South Beach. Great location. Close to the bus stops and great dining. Staff was courteous and helpful. Room was clean with clean sheets every day. Hotel is old but so are 90% of the hotels in Miami. Amenities were lacking but covered the essentials. CJ's crab shack is attached with great seafood! Stayed for WMC so we only used the hotel to sleep. It was perfect! Plus it's on ocean and you are literally on the beach as soon as you walk out of the hotel. I will defiinitely stay here again!!

Take the bus around town! C or 120 to get to downtown. Every where else is walkable! Take the 150 to get to the airport only 2.35. Heck of a lot cheaper than a 40 dollar cab ride!!!!!

Terrible Hotel
The experience was terrible. The hotel had water damage in our room before we checked in and they basically threw my friends and I on the street and claimed "it was not their problem". We had to book another hotel nearby and spent an additional $300 of which the Beach Paradise Hotel would not reimburse us the difference. Do NOT stay at this hotel. Management is uncaring and terrible.

Beach Paradise Hotel
enjoyed myself immensely....location was great...loved proximity to beach across street.....food at crab shack next door was excellent and priced satisfactorily....all the people i encountered from the staff were friendly and helpful....hope to stay there again soon

great location
We stayed for 5 days there. The toalet did not flush so we had to call the office every day. The airconditioning was blasting cold air on our heads on the first night and there was no way we can stop it since there is only one termostat per floor. We asked the office to ajust it but this happened on the second day of our stay. Other then that it has a great location and the room was clean.

Great location, helpful and kind staff but...
I loved the location, and staff was very kind and helpful, so this was really good. But the cleanliness of the sheets were doubtful, and I didn't like how bathroom looked like (it felt like it's not clean enough). For this price, I expect the room to be clean and fresh.

what a joke
went there and waited like 20 min before the girl at the desk even showed up.... looked like the place was closed or something...then when we went to check in they didnt even have our rooms and the girl at the front desk was laughing like it was some kind of joke!!! took her about another 20 min to even find our resis....then was like are you sure you booked your rooms here? what do you mean am i sure the paper in my hand from orbitz said i do...so after all that bs she set us up at some other hotel that they are afiliated with and another garbage hotel! no hot water, ac never cooled the room off felt like a dirty filthy room!! dont waste your time even looking at this place they should burn in down and just make it a parking lot
