Good choice near MIA Intl Airport
it was a good enough for a one night stay if you just need a place to spend the night, not really much to do at the hotel, but a good choice if you need something near the airport...you do need a car though

decent for price
For the price we paid for the room...it was a good deal...everything was included in the price...continental breakfast, laundry, business center, gym...the only problem we haf d was the kitchen sink n dishwasher didnt work..n if there would have been room service everyday n not just when requested...it would have been great

Hard to Locate
Room was clean and well maintained and the staff was helpful, however the hotel is very difficult to find. It's on the back side of a Holiday Inn Express and has almost no signage at all. At night the only visible sign is a small on on the roadway, that is unreadable even once you find it. Took us 20 minutes driving around to find the hotel. Finally went into the Holiday Inn Express to ask directions. Also the elevator broke during out stay effectively trapping us on our floor unless we used the stair well from the 6th floor which emptied outside onto the back side of the parking lot.

Look for the Holiday Inn Express sign. Staybridge Suites is the building on the back-side of their parking lot which apprears to be part of the same hotel.

Great complimentary hot breakfast
This was the 2nd time in this Hotel and it was what I expected. AC was a litle noisy and it blew right on top of one of the queen beds, the windows of the Hotel room can't be opened, the location was OK for me (close to aiport, close to shopping while street traffic being not so buisy),the breakfast was great, the room was clean, the kitchenette was good and the complimentary self service laundry & drying machines where just excelent. However, the internet was not realy highspeed, you can't use the stairs to go upstairs to your room and the parking spot is accesible from two open entrances. But overall, this is definitely the place to stay with family who need to share a room, need to be close to the Miami international airport and especially who have a limited budget.

Short drive or Long walk (0.5 miles) to a Wallmart. Dolphinn mall close by (with a car)and is easy to find (even without GPS).

pretty nice hotel
Nice hotel, kept clean, nice breakfast but the air unit was incredibly loud every time it went on. Loud enough to wake someone from a sound sleep. Had to turn off which was ok because cool weather that evening. Can Not Imagine staying in that room in spring or summer in Florida!

New Year's in Miami
The room was clean and had a nice L shape and didn't feel cramped. There was a working kitchen area where you could cook on a stove or use a microwave. The fridge was full-sized and spotless. There was a full-length couch for relaxing and watching TV, a desk and decent closet space. Basically the size of a Manhattan studio, LOL. The free breakfast each morning was a nice touch. They had an assortment of food that included eggs, ham, fruit, yogurt, toast and a waffle iron. The ride into Miami was about 25 minutes. the location, however, was close to malls and a lot of restaurant seclections. All and all, we were very pleased with the hotel.

Miami Beach was waay better than downtown Miami. It is a scene within itself with nightlife and a wide variety of restaurants. If you must go to Miami, go to the pier. Make sure you set aside a day to visit Key West. Also, the Fort Lauderdale beach was a nice, less hectic experience and was about an hour from the hotel.

NICE ROOMS NICE STAFF WOULD STAY AGAIN
Stayed overnight on layover after long international flight. Large Comfy Room Friendly Staff Only issue was that I could not see hotel at all from main streets while driving because it is hidden behind a Holiday Inn.
