Affordable Miami hotel with airport shuttle, free Wi-Fi and breakfast

Disappointed
clean older motel, but not as nice as other La Quintas I have stayed at. Don't bother trying to get complimentary breakfast, to crowed to sit, can maybe grab a muffin and juice and take back to room. There is a Dennys, McDonalds and Wendys next door. A fridge would have been nice. Close to airport, but noise was not a problem. All in all, not bad

close to Marlins Park, drive to beach not bad unless you go to South Beach then traffic is heavy.

Not great, not so bad
The hotel is 'tired', but it was clean and served the purpose. If you need a night's stay before a connecting flight, it is fine!

Great Airport hotel
We just needed a hotel that I call "cheap and memorable" for the night near the Miami airport before flying out at 8 am the next morning. We had a pool which was perfect to rest and refresh after our overseas trip. The room was basic but very clean and had a flat screen TV to watch the Academy Awards that night. The hotel was located next to a shopping plaza that had Cuban, Chinese, Argentinian and Peruvian restaurants to choose from. We left early in the morning so we could not take advantage of the free breakfast except for the coffee, muffins and fruit. The hotel shuttle was prompt in picking us up to and from the airport.

Two star hotel, but the niceties of an airport shuttle (on the hour), a continental breakfast, and internet in all the rooms make it a great bargain. The receptionist was very accommodating in allowing us to settle in our room five hours before check-in time. Definitely will consider using this hotel again.

Small mall next to Wendy's which is adjacent to the property (as is Denny's) has several family restaurants. We dined at the Cuban and Chinese restaurants there, and were very pleased with the prices and food fare.

DO NOT STAY HERE...
The worst hotel i have every stayed at , The Front service desk person was to busy to greet us , opended the door to the room and smelled like a GARBAGE/DUMPSTER, not to menthion all the menues trashed on the floor , also was put right next to the house keeping lounge the A/C was horibble didnt work half the time and not to mention this hotel takes in guest with animals , wich said noting on the website , to see hairs of anmials all over the room was great and to see guest walkin numours dogs NOT so great for someone with alergies!!!, This was the worst comming home gift every !!!!!

Good Value for Money
I was satisfied that I got my money’s worth in my time at this La Quinta Hotel. My room was clean and comfortable. I appreciated the separation of rooms for smokers and rooms for guests with pets. The proximity to major highways is a plus for someone renting a car or driving their own car.
