Nice hotel, great location
This is an older hotel, but the rooms are clean and comfortable. The restaraunt and bar area are quite nice. The food and drinks are good, and the prices are quite reasonable for the location. The pool area is cozy and clean, although we spent most of our time on the beach, which is just beyoud the pool. Very well kept altogether. A very nice getaway. We will definitely consider this hotel again.

If you are patient and you have time to lose - this is your place.
Breakfast included? No ! You have to argue, to prove, to show some papers, better prepare to pay for it. Well ... I managed to find mine reservation. Money back ? Manager ? Yes, but he will arrive 2 hours after you leave the hotel, sorry about that. Towels at pool? Yes, but locked. The person holding the key will eventually come. Eventually, I never saw him. If you are patient and have time to lose - this is your place.

Good things - (1) Hotel provides twice a day shuttle to South Beach. (2) Bus stop is very close. (3) Beach is right behind the hotel. No so good things - (1) Food is costly and options are limited. (2) no Microwave in the room.

drab and uninviting. rude front desk
Front desk was rude and non responsive. There was hair in the shower that was clinging to thr sides. Coffee maker didnt work and there was sand on the floor and stains on the sheets. We went to walmart and bought new sheets for the bed. Beautifal location. Online pics very misleading

Nice clean in quiet safe neighborhood
We've been there with my friend. 1 min and you are on the beach!!! Liked the style of hotel with Marilyn Monroe and Elvis Presley) neighborhood quiet and safe. Hotel is clean. A lit bit far from "nightlife" of Miami, but u can take a bus.

Howard Johnson in Miami
It was okay, far from south beach.. like 20 min... fees are crazy.. 12 for parking each day..11 for a "resort fee" each day...overall it was okay....the buffet breakfast was food for $12

OK stay
On the beach. Classic looking hotel, but a bit run-down. Had a good time relaxing by the pool and on the beach. Front desk staff were not very helpful and did not know/understand much about the the wireless connection and/or available activities etc. Written information available was out of date. Asked about a glass bottom boat. Got a phone number to somebody who was out of business. Found another one our selves.
