Days Inn Miami Airport North

The location near the construction filled Miami airport was the only redeeming quality of the hotel. The room was dirty, zero water pressure, bathroom door wouldn't close and the bed was rock hard. The restaurant featured a wait staff that could not speak English. The food wasn't worth waiting for.

Miami North Airport Days Inn was staffed by very nice people and the swimming pool was excellent. After that it was all down hill. The area is very bad, and almost hostile. The nearest restaurant was 3 blocks away and an IHOP which was great, but not a safe place to walk after dark. The rooms were shabby, but the beds were nice. The rooms were not very clean however. We were not allowed to use the phone for local service unless we put down a $50.00 cash deposit. They did provide a shuttle to the port of Miami, but would not pick you up on your return. They did have a shuttle to the airport and back every hour 24 hours a day. The in house restaurant was closed during our first day, and open for the second, but very costly for the conditions. The pool is huge and clean. We loved it, and were happy to have it. It was the only bright spot. We felt otherwise stranded.

Coffee maker didn't work. Hotel staff could not assist me with anything. Hotel shuttle bus to airport was irregular. Overall, my experience at the hotel was bad.

This was the worst hotel I have ever been in. I'm not kidding, there were actually holes in the floor under the rugs. The staff was surly and unhelpful. The room had no TV remote and I went to the desk to complain but the Why-are-you-bothering-me woman behind the counter was so put off that I finally just told her not to bother to find another one. I decided to look for the remote under my bed. I didn't find the remote, but I did find some trash that the cleaning staff had apparently decided was not worth looking for. I had to go out back to the dingy looking parking lot to get soda and ice from the vending machines. The free airport pickup was nice, if expected, but when I asked where to get the van the hotel staff (which originally didn't answer the phone for about fifteen minutes) said, Go to second floor. I asked Where on the second floor? Anywhere was the reply. It took me a while to figure out that the second floor meant the outside road on the second level. Ultimately a van picked us up, and they did take us to the cruise ship for free the next morning. Since that saved me 28 bucks and the savings for flying on a thursday instead of a friday actually paid for the room, I have to admit it was worth what I actually paid for it (Zilch). But I must say, this hotel stay was enough to drive me Psycho!

?This hotel is located near the airport as its name indicates, for that reason most of its guess carry suitcases, this hotel does not have an elevator or any person who helping to carry suitcases to second floor. ?About one hour waiting the shuttle airport to hotel ?Room very small ?The people at the front desk was not frienly, she did not help in the basic needs that we as guest needed ?Next time I will not stay at a Days Inn Hotel

I had to spend a night at the Miami Days Inn to get to my International flight the next day. This Inn is 10 minutes away from the MIA. I left the hotel to go to the airport and i realized that i forgot a package in my room. I called the desk at the Inn and notified them that i would be returning to collect the package. When i returned no one seemed to know anything about the package as the room was cleaned. I was so upset as it was a present for a friend. If the staff of a hotel is so unwilling to turn over something that is not there's it only shows that the people who work there are not trustowrthy.

Fot the money paid, we did not get anything good. Very dirty room, very noisy. Room did not have the options paid for. When we questioned staff, got an "oh well" response. Neighborhood was slum like, could not walk to find food. Had to order out for delivery. Would not stay here again, even for free. Picture on this site of hotel is not of the actual hotel. Deceitful. Will not use Orbitz again.

This hotel should be consider MOTEL not hotel. Very unfriendly front desk clerk when I check. The Woman was super rude, I asked her to give me wakeup call at 4:00AM and she responded "ARE YOU SURE THATS THE TIME YOU WANT IT". when I asked her what time would you suggest I should wake up if my flight is 6:00AM and the airline al ready cjeck me in. She responded "I DON'T KNOW" in a very very rude way. So told her to changed it at 3:00AM then. She grab the wake up call list and TAKE A DEEP BREATH".

Good location to Airport, but very dirty carpet, not very good bed, noisy until late

My boyfriend and I went to Florida expecting to have a wonderful time. Instead, we were suprised with an unclean room, bad service and most importantly WE WERE ROBBED!!!! Our car was broken into at The Days Inn and 4,000 dollars worth of our stuff was stolen. The robbers took our both of our laptops, gps systems, school books, over a hundred dollar calculators and my purses. They also took all of my boyfriends clothes and shoes. I could not believe this had happened. Why were all of our valuables in the car you may ask - because our locks were broken on our door and the hotel staff stated they needed to fix it and keep our doors open to do it- the door would be open and our room unsecured all day - so basically it was a set up and then once we were leaving, the hotel manager stated he couldn't give us a reciept for our stay and he never apologized for what happened - he even attempted to deny THAT IT HAPPENED - and he was there when we called the police and filled out a police report. It was one of the worst, most costly moments in my life and I will never stay at another Days Inn again and am not sure I will take another recommendation. In fact I'm getting upset thinking about it again...DO NOT STAY AT THE DAYS INN!!!!!! I only wish someone had let me know before it was too late - !!!
