Baymont Inn & Suites Miami Airport West/Doral

The good: Shuttle to and from the airport at no cost; check-in was suppose to be at 3 but staff allowed us in the room at around noon. When the shuttle pulled up to the hotel, the exterior looked well maintained with a good decor but again once you get inside the problems we encountered were numerous. The bad: The hotel claims to have wi fi but our laptop which works every where else wasn't able to stream netflix, youtube or anything similar; The room had the old CRT Tvs with very limited amount of channels. The Room had a damp feeling and the carpet was old and dirty to the point where my white sweatsocks that I thankfully kept on was gray/dark just from walking on the rug. It was evident that the room/hotel itself had not been updated or renovated in recent history. The beds were not comfortable and the bathroom was barely tolerable and we found quite a bit of hair from someone still in the tub. We were charged around $100 for each night we stayed and for that price I was expecting a much better experience. I would not stay there again.

If you are thinking of booking this hotel because of the free shuttle service beware. We booked early flights so we could spend the afternoon shopping but after waiting one hour on level 2 waiting for the shuttle we called the hotel and we were told it would arrive in half an hour, it eventually came one and a half hours later. I complained to the manageress and she immediately called and paid for a cab to take us to the Mall and back as a gesture of good will. We were told that the shuttle only runs on the hour til 1pm. This needs clarification when you make your booking. The shuttle bus is also shared with the Best Western hotel next door so we would have had the same problem if booking there. As far as the rest of the hotel was concerned it was clean and adequate, internet connection was good but very slow, 0.5mbs. Breakfast was also OK.

small hotel in a good price, the breakfast is poor but there is a supermarket close to it. the staff is ok, room is nice, good size and clean

BAYMONT was a good choice to be in Doral a central location for moving throughout Miami-Dade and even into Broward or further north. The Guest Services folks were very helpful and friendly, the room could have been a little cleaner.

Overall experiencia was ok, but very disapointed with room as carpet was very dirty ( seems they vacm but do not clean the carpets often) bathtub curtain rod was poorly kept in place by ugly looking screws and tub was cracked open on one side. Left one day in the afternoon and room was not cleaned by housekeeping so had to ask front desk for towels and was given the small towels you use to pace on floor to get out of tub ad there were no towels available (?) Couldn't take advantage of breakfast as there were too many people and when was able to get a bagel it was not fresh :-( Hotel has a great location, but need to improve I stead Of getting worse with time.....

This hotel is located in a good area and around a lot of places that spark intrest to me. The airport and beach were less then 30 mins and that was nice. I came all the way from michigan to this hotel I always heard baymont was a good hotel and people were right. I enjoyed my stay breakfast was good. The only complaint I have was staff at the desk was okay I had an issue that they couldnt seem to get right. Yhe room was very humid even with the air on I felt clamy all weekend. I would definately recommend this hotel not only for travelers but for family as well.

A great budget hotel. Clean and good service. the only grouse I have is regarding the breakfast. I really wouldn't mid paying $5 more for a little more that bread, cornflakes, and bagels. Out of the 4 nights I stayed here last time, muffins and tarts were there only on two breakfast days. That breakfast menu seriously needs to be revamped!
