BEWARE .arrived and waited 20 minutes to check-in. only one person working at front desk during a friday night!!!! with a long line to check in , the manager walked by 2 times and didnt help out with front desk person. room was leaking water in roof and had mold, if i didnt check -in so late and was had room reserved for more nights i would have never stayed at this place. i am a frequent travler and will never stay here again. very dissapointed.THIS ROOM WAS NOT CHEAP AND THEY WILL CHARGE YOU A $15.00 RESORT EACH NIGHT.

We stayed in a standard room. This had outdoor access with an outside window and a lovely view of the parking lot. Every time the maids cleaned, they forgot something, like the towels or the toilet paper. I even left a tip for them in hopes that we would get extra good service...no luck. I don't think they ever vacuumed the place during our stay. This hotel touts close proximatey to the resorts, the shuttle system is unreliable. I took us more than 45 minutes to get to the magic kingdom usually. On a better note, the pools were perfect!

The hotel is on Disney property, it is like staying at an economy motel. The bathtub was filthy. The rooms were small, the walkway was dirty and the icemakers were also dirty. I hosted a business partner and was thoroughly embarassed. This hotel is the typical tourist trap. I would never recommend this hotel to any of my friends.

i had a very unpleasant experienced with the front desk staffs when i checked in. They've checked me in the wrong room, the room was already occupied.It was 11:30 at night i felt very bad and uncomfortable to interupted people while they were sleeping. I went back down to the front desk and told she has checked me in the wrong room (occupied room). No apologies nothing what so ever from her nor the staffs instead she argued with me that it wasn't her fault.There were 3 staffs at that time kept going back and forth among themselves and completely ignored.I Was tired so as my mother and my 6 years old nephew we're just wanted to be able to go to our room shower and relax after the flight. I told that i wanted to speak to her Manager. She told me her manager was not on duty i have to come back in the morning to see her that was just blew me in the face. Patiently, waited for them to solve the problem they didn't even bother to inform me but i overheard through thier conversation was checked me in for room #478 but gave me the keys for room 468 and wrote down 468 as well. What level of customer service did i get from Regal Sun Resort front desk staffs??? Unfriendly, unprofessinal and rude. Other than that, i was very happy with the shuttle service to the theme parks and had great experienced with bus drivers. They've showed there professionalism to the service.

First let me say that this hotel is old, renovated, and the only thing they have going for them is the location. It is directly across the street from downtown Disney. I booked a 1 bedroom room, and did not get the room I reserved. They told me it was a Disney view, and my view was of the rooftop of the lower level buildings. When I went to the front desk to inquire about the room I was given the run around from the manager on duty, which I had to wait 20 minutes to talk to. They did nothing for my concern at all, not even offering me another room, nothing. The next morning I stopped by the front desk to speak to someone else, and they had 1 person working at the desk and again, the same run around. There were 3 men that were checking out that were just as angry as I was, they were being charged fees not explained to them. This is the worse hotel in Orlando to stay, you would think with all the hotels in the area that a consumer can choose from, they would willing to make a customer happy. After all, we can take our business anywhere in Orlando, and I will next time. The staff was not very pleasant, and the lack of help at the front desk made it even more fustrating. Also, the rooms were small and not attractive, in this recently renovated 40 year old hotel. Never again and I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

Issues started at check-in where we had to wait nearly 30 minutes in line. Didn't expect a room that you could access from the outside but our fault for not checking into it more. Beds were tiny, refridgerator froze all our leftover food and beverages and had no hot water the last 2 days of the trip. Thankfully we spent most days on the town because this place was awful. I wouldn't recommend this place to my worst enemy.

We booked this hotel months ahead of time to start off our Florida trip. When we arrived, we were told that the hotel was completly overbooked and had an envelope of information for us because they had relocated us to a hotel down the street. We booked this hotel because of the new renovations and the pool for our kids. They stated that they "put us up" in a comparable hotel...I would say they did not! The hotel we ended up staying at was run down and had an apartment size pool. Come to find out, they had overbooked 40 rooms for the same night. Many of the "overbooked" guests compared notes at the new hotel. We found out that if a group (in this case...a cheerleading convention) comes into town and they need more rooms, Regal Sun, relocates other guests to another (shoddy) hotel. I asked the hotel that they moved us to what price Regal Sun was paying for us to stay there...it was 40.00 cheaper than what I paid Regal Sun! So, they made money on us as well! They have poor management and I would not recommend staying there. It really was not a great way to start our trip! I would say that the rest of the trip went well. Thank goodness we were out of there! They had no sympathy to the 40 (rooms) they relocated. They just said, "Sorry, airlines overbook all the time!" Nice response! BEWARE!

I'm a physician that practices internal medicine. My daughter and I developed food poisoning from the hotel's room service. However, Mr Hansen, the director of security, refused to accept any responsibility. Tried to argue with him but he sided with the food service division. This is an irresponsible and unsafe hotel, and I am considering contacting the Orlando Department of Heath to investigate the Hotel's Food handling protocols

My fiance and I went to Orlando on vacation to visit Diney World and relax. While the overall trip was wonderful the hotel was not acceptable. When booking the hotel there was no indecation that we would be staying in an outside hallway room. The rooms are very noisy, you can easily hear people walking by and children running around late at night 3am to be exact. When a neighboring door opens and closes it is very loud and I'm a very heavy sleeper and everytime a door shut it woke me up. In the online photos there was a nice lcd flatscreen tv and the tv in the room was some piece of junk that could barely show the picture. The room was not very clean and had cobbwebs all over the ceiling. The restaurant iside charges $17.95 per person for the breakfast buffet. Now I could understand paying that if the food was good but it was not. The one nice feature of the hotel was its location about 300 yards from downtown Disney. There are other hotels in the area and when I return for another trip I will be staying at one of the other hotels located in the area.

This is an outdoor hotel, nothing resort about that. Nothing is complimentary even though it advertises it, i.e wireless internet, etc., because you pay $16.00 a day in resort fees. The rooms weren't anything I expected, I'm guessing that the resort part of the hotel are the suites and the rooms with the view to disney downtown. If you plan on being gone from you room 80% of the time your there then you won't mind the room. I must say that the shuttle to and from the theme parks was ok but you can catch the shuttle from downtown where there is free parking and not pay for the ride.
