Wyndham Lake Buena Vista Resort

Told we were to receive a special gift only to find out that it was a sales presentation for Wyndham properties that we had to pay 20 dollars for (which we got back only after we sat through the sales presentation) we were told that the presentation included a special breakfast and the whole thing would ony last 2 to 2 1/2 hours. The special breakfast consisted of old coffee and some prepackaged muffins that can be purchased at Costco or Sams Club. We were told up front that it was a sales presentation but we were also told it was a soft sale - which it was not they wouldn't take no for an answer and kept bringing in more and more sales people. We were stuck there for 4 1/2 hours before they would give us a ride back to the hotel.

Stayed with my wife for two days. Checked in with reservations for King bed. We got to room it was a full/queen dark basement like room. I went to desk to be told that the hotel was sold out and that I used a third party to book the room. Don't most people? Asked for manager, who never came out, finally got my room changed. Bate and switch seems to me. Disappointment.

Once we were situated into a tower room, we were very happy. Room was large, had ample storage even for a family, bathroom was clean and roomy. Decor was updated and pretty. Bus service to parks was much appreciated and the bar in the lobby was a great spot to end a LOOOOONNNNG day at all four parks!

The rooms are nothing to brag about, but they were clean and comfortable. All you need if you're not planning on doing much else there other than sleeping and showering. The staff was friendly and helpful. The pool is big and kid-friendly. The restaurants are nice, decent priced, open early/late and had great service. I stayed here and at one of the Disney resorts - and you cannot beat this location, especially for the price. A minute walk to downtown Disney and shuttles to all the other parks every 30 mins. We were always able to get on the shuttles right away and were to our destinations in 10-20 mins. The only thing they don't have is an airport shuttle, but it was easy enough to find another way. Shuttles run @$35 round trip but can take awhile with other stops, a taxi w/tip was @$65 one way. We'll stay here again next time.

This is not a 4 star hotel, it is a 2-3 star at best. Rooms are tired, maid service was slow and did not refill supplies. Pool was good for young kids, It's walking distance to downtown Disney. I would not stay here again until the hotel is overhauled!

The first room we were given to sleep in reminded my of the room psycho. It reminded me of a hotel room. The smell mold was in the air. It was the worst experience. Would never stay there again. I finally received a room in the "newly renovated" rooms. Looked to me like it was renovated 30 years ago. Horrible accommodations.

This hotel is pretty blah - not very clean, noisy and the staff wasn't very helpful. The only good thing about it is the location.

I went with the low cost provider and it worked well. Only downside was broken elevator and very thin walls. This is a very old property that they are pricing at the low end of the scale.

This hotel is perfectly located near Downtown Disney, which makes for a quick walk to restaurants, shopping, etc. The hotel itself is average. This is not a four star hotel- at least not the older motel like floor we stayed on but for the price and location it was a perfect spot for a family vacation. The shuttle transportation to the Disney parks was excellent and the rooms were clean.
