Nice Family Value Option
Admittedly, the quality of this hotel is not first class, but it's a very good value for the money (I paid just $79 a night) and it makes Disney and the other parks easy to do more afford ably than staying at Disney World. A very nice pool with water play features for the kids, a hot tub, in room refrigerators, available microwaves, free self parking, free wifi, free shuttles to all the parks and Downtown Disney which is right up the street all helped take the bite out of what can easily become a very expensive vacation. Personally, I prefer a more upscale hotel, but for the money, I think it would be hard to ask for anything more.

It's a good getaway hotel.
Having stayed there in the past, the hotel is in an excellent location for travel around Central Fla; and, only a very short walk to the Disney Marketplace.

Room old and noisy and overlooked the trash dump
The room was in a very old, out of the way, section of the hotel. It was actually a dirty old motel. The walls were thin which made the stay very noisy. The room opened out over the trash dump and delivery trucks. I would never stay in this dump again.

The room was very poor. The bathroom lover standard. The air condition old and loud. It's more motel than a hotel. At least they couldn't offer an umbrella to go to the parking lot when it was raining!!!!!! 1 l water at the hotel "supermarket" for nearly $ 5,--!!!! For all this experiences the price is more than too high

All was great
Only thing we were disappointed in was that the hotel had moved. We stayed at the WYNDHAM Lake Beuna Vista before but it is now THE PALACE. That is where we thought we were going. It certainly was NOT the same and not as nice. But the trip overall was great.

My new favorite hotel!
Wonderful experience! Staff was very friendly and went out of their way to help us. Pool is large, heated and the childrens pool is fun for kids of all ages. Loved walking across the street to Downtown Disney.

Convenient if your going to the Parks not for Cruising
This hotel is convenient if you are going to the parks. Downtown disney is just a short walk from the front door. They have constant transportation for free to all the parks. However, they don't have transportation to and from the airport. My girlfriend and I had to rent a car to go to and from the airport. Which was kind of a hassle because you have to pay a bunch of tolls to get to the hotel. But they do have convenient free parking for guests. If you are going on a cruise out of Cape Canaveral be aware that the port is like 50 miles east of the airport. This hotel is almost twenty miles away from the airport. For a cruise stay somewhere else, otherwise good hotel.

Surprised and Satisfied with Resort!
After reading some bad reviews about this resort I was afraid I made a mistake in booking into this resort but our experience here was really good! We were booked into a corner room close to an elevator and had no issues with noise. The only noise came from the air unit in the room but after a few seconds the noise stopped and it worked just fine. I had read reviews about the hot water not working so I immediatly ran the water to see for myself but as soon as I changed the temp to hot there was hot water! So far a plus! We also got free Wi-Fi in our room, free use of the safe to keep our IPADS and other valuables in while we were out of the room, and a nice sized refrigerator to keep our snacks and food in. Everybody we had to talk to when we first stepped into the resort were all very friendly. From the desk clerk to the bell hop, everybody was very nice and friendly. For the price we paid to stay here I would have to say we got a fantastic deal and would not have a problem booking into this resort again. The location, literally a short 5 minute walk to Downtown Disney, and the staff made our stay here comfortable and inviting. One thing the resort might consider working on is transportation around Disney. We came to participate in the marathon and thought that since this resort was on Disney property they would have transportation to get us to Epcot but they didn't. It seemed like transportation for this event was planned out at the last minute. Groups of participants were crowded into SUV's and vans like clowns in order to get to Epcot on time. Also, maybe consideration can be made to offer buses like some other Disney resort hotels offer to get people to all the parks. Other than transportation, our experience here was better than expected.

We we're sure if the resort had a restuarant inside but there are places to eat in Downtown Disney...a short 5 minute walk from the hotel. And if you want other choices that are not in Disney there is a group of restuarants about a 5 minute drive or 10-15 minute walk from the hotel.

Exactly what I was looking for
I was looking for an affordable room with shuttle service to Disney and this was perfect. The building/rooms is older (which doesn't matter to me) but the furnishings are all modern. The beds were comfortable and the staff was polite and helpful. The pool and spa were nice. The room service food was good as well and not too expensive for room service. It was a 3 minute walk to Downtown Disney with shops and food. I have nothing but good to say about my stay. If you are looking for everything nice and new with lots of freebies, this isn't it. But if you are looking for an affordable, comfortable room close to Disney but not right in it, then this is your place. I would definitely stay here again.
