Overnight Trip
Good location but not worth price for one night. Parking charge was $12 per night for self parking - but no spaces when we returned to hotel from Holloween event, tired & with a sleeping child. We had to drive to Swan hotel to park then hike back to the Dolphin hotel. The room seemed tired & not very clean. We selected this hotel over a chain hotel to be spared the lack of cleanliness & ended up dealing with it at high price. Lots of restaurants but no availability when checked in & all closed upon our return from park.

There are several places to have breakfast at the nearby Disney Boardwalk resort - less expensive than the $20 breakfast buffet @ hotel.

Good hotel but one of the oldest hotels
Hotel staff, service was great. Many restuarants, but nothing basic that calls your attention to eat. The hotel looks very old thus didnt make me feel excited and fun to be at... Thats the big negative of the hotel.. Doesnt bring your mood up especially when you paying top dollar to be at a high end hotel/resort.... Wouldnt stay here again.. I will go to another disney hotel next time, more modern....

Great value walking distance to Epcot
The hotel was very clean and the staff was very friendly. It is obvious the hotel is not the newest one in Orlando. However, Epcot and the Boardwalk are walking distance away which was very convenient.

Good location and pool
Hotel needs to be updated as rooms are showing signs of age. Lobby and amenities are nice but other Disney properties have more to offer. Location is perfect for visiting Epcot.

Great Location
My wife and I stayed here for an extended weekend. The location is perfect for anyone spending time at Epcot Center or Disney Hollywood Studios. Both locations can be accessed either by a short walk, bus, or the water ferry which stops right in front of the hotel. The hotel itself had several pools, all of which were very nice. There were several restaurants, and one cafeteria that was open 24 hours / day. The restaturant food was very good, the lounges served good drinks. My only complaint would be the cost of eating there. The cafeteria was obscenely overpriced.

In Hotel
Try the coconut shrimp sushi roll at Kimono's in the Swan hotel. Be careful in the casual dining places, they are all very expensive, especially Pikabu's.

Food & Wine Festival getaway
Stayed at the Dolphin for location, location, location. It's within walking distance of Boardwalk and Epcot or you can take the boat to both places or Hollywood studios. Did not care for the $12 charge for amenities we did not use. There's also a $11 charge for self park. Those 2 charges are added as you check in so has nothing to do with Orbitz. Our room overlooked the loading dock for the hotel so should have been a discount room rate for that. We were there for the Epcot Food & Wine Festival so were not at the hotel much.

The overall experience was wonderful. The dining was a bit strange in that there does not seem to be a middle of the road restaurant where on can take a family comfortably in the evening.

Charge for wine glass....
We went to the boardwalk country store for some wine. We requested a wine glass from room service which they kindly charged us $4 for. We were staying a few days and while even leaving a note not to take the glass room service took it anyway. We also felt that the in room breakfast menu was unclear when ordering for two people. Other than that the stay was delightful.

Short walk from hotel
Skip the boat ride to Epcot from the Swan or Dolphin. There are stops at the Beach club and the Boardwalk before you get to Epcot. The walk across the board walk will get you there in half the time. It's a straight shot back on the boats from Universal and Epcot which will save you time. To avoid a long wait for the buses to Magic Kingdom go to Epcot first and take the monarail. This of course needs a park hopper pass.
