Hidden Fees
Make sure you read the fine print! The hotel was listed for $ 95 a night but don't forget the $ 25 dollar in taxes. The $ 10 a night parking fee and the $ 8.00 resort fee. So it's more like $ 150 a night. The hotel is one of the nicer ones on the Blvd and provides bus service to the parks. Make sure to time your bus departures and arrivals or you'll be waiting a long time. The bus gets filled pretty quickly so make sure to arrive early.

Parks such as Animal Kingdom and the water parks are free to park so save yourself the bus wait time and take the short drive to the park.

Everything was fine, except that the empolyes were kinda rude, I mean the room serivice was great, but the waiters and receptionists need to improve on their atttitude.

Bus to Downtown Disney only starts running at 6 p.m., however, it is a very short walk. I do not recommend asking the Concierge for area information. They are paid to send you where they receive commissions. I received the most helpful information from the front desk, gift shop attendant and the bartender. Bellmen weren't much help either. Lynx buses do run to International Drive, however you have to get a transfer. Driver will not give it to you unless you ask. Flipper Pizza very good pizza and reasonably priced. Located at Crossroads Plaza. Just a short walk.

The Goodings supermarket at Crossroads Plaza is a 10 minute walk from the hotel. They sell everything. I got a disposable cooler and saved money on drinks, snacks and cereal for breakfast.

Nice Hotel
Overall a good value. The pool was small and so was the TV in the room. Other than that I have no real complaints. Shuttles run from hotel to Disney ever half hour.

Needs to be brought into this century
The staff were courteous and helpful. The room was clean and tidy. However - the television was ancient with very bad reception, it did not react to the remote control. The 'menu' button on the remote didn't work, so the technician told me to press the zero ?? We tried to purchase a pay per view movie (Paul), the screen got stuck at the 'Buy' stage as no buttons would work. Technicians advice - just press all the buttons, one will work. On our third night we managed to purchase Black Swan, only to find that there was no sound on pay per view channels that night. The only alternative to pay per view was twelve channels nine of which were showing news, the other three showing paid advertising or similar. Dimmer switch for lamp beside bed inoperable, power outlets inoperable. The area directly outside elevator has nooks obviously built for a statue or plant display, but they had been removed so the area was bland and empty. We decided to eat at the restaurant for lunch, we were seated, but only after asking to be seated - then no-one appeared to our table to get drinks or serve us so we got up and left. From the film Avatar...... this hotel is sad, sad only.

Nice Stay.. will be back soon...
Royal Plaza is a MUST DO. Price was right, room was big, clean and great location. Went for a short weekend getaway with my 15 year old daughter. Checked in with no issues, room was big and comfortable. Beds A+. Great Location. Great bus service to and from Parks and Downtown Disney. All staff we encountered was smiling and helpful. I will stay here again !!

Short walk to Down Town Disney shopping and nightlife... BUT, remember the buses run every 30 minutes after 6 pm until 3 am so you wont miss the fun!

Great location
walking distance to DT disney and the shopping center to get things at the grocery store etc. Great for any budget!

Okay for the money
The hotel is nice from the outside but inside the rooms it is nothing special. They have the old tube style TV's and they do not have walk out balconies which would be great to enjoy the Florida sunsets. The location is great though.The staff is nice too, when we checked in the front desk stated that the reservation had not been booked by [...](Thanks a lot...) but they were courteous enough to give a room anyways and sorted it out with [...]the next day. Also, do not forget the extra fees you will have to pay, parking, internet, etc... Overall I will more than likely stay somewhere else next time.

Nice, big rooms
Large sized room with two beds and couch. Flat screen TV with Cable. Nice, deep tub and plenty of room in the bath. Location was terrific. Great proximity to parks and walking distance to Downtown Disney. Air Conditioner cooled room to a crisp temperature. Only down side, breakfast was noisy and the buffet was mediocre, but great coffee. Hotel room is a Great value.
