Complimentary Wi-Fi service is now available in all Walt Disney World Resort hotels. Guests will now be able to access complimentary Wi-Fi in their rooms as well as in select common areas within the resort hotel, including restaurant locations, bus load zones, feature pools, arcades, convention spaces (if applicable) and the porte cochere.
Disney Hotel Resort guests also enjoy their Extra Magic Hours Benefit. On select days, Disney Resort hotel guests can enter a Disney Theme Park an hour early-and on select evenings, enjoy a Park up to two hours after regular closing time. That's when lines may be shorter and the weather can be more comfortable. Guests have time for a midday break or a dip in the pool. Then the gang will be ready to head back to the same Theme Park for more fun! Don't forget your Magic Your Way Tickets with Park Hopper Option! quite, clean, friendly
We didnt' spend much time in the room but it was very quite and clean. The food is overpriced but it is Disney. Quite a ways away by the bus system so if you stay here you might want to think about renting a car...

Renovated Rooms and Great Atmosphere
I have stayed at several Disney properties in Orlando, and I would rate this one as the best! The rooms were renovated last year, and the staff was very friendly and knowledgeable about the resort. I would highly recommend Port Orleans Riverside as the best mid-level hotel on property!!

First park stay
I loved it! So convenient to all the parks. The food court was great. Very relaxing atmosphere. Room was just the right size after all I did not spend much time there. Pool area was large and really liked the walk way to visit Port Orleans. Just wished price was lower.

Great first resort experience!
The riverside resort was awesome! I thought the staff did a wonderful job. When I first checked in computers were down but the staff took care of us and gave one day hopper pass so we could go to a park and finish checking in later that evening. I liked the little extras like the mickey mouse made out of towels they put on my bed. I used to stay at condos or hotels when traveling to Disney World but not any more this is the way to travel. The magic express from the airport to the resort and then the buses to the parks no more rental cars!

Food court saves money for large family
Very nice. Great if you have a large family. Hotel has a cheap but good selection at a food court. Food selection not that good if you are a couple willing to spend more. No room service. The pools were open until midnight and they were packed with kids but the noise doesn't travel to the rooms. They looked like they were having tons of fun. Overall, very clean, quit, and pretty. Nothing like the Swan or Dolphin, my hotels of choice. If you are a couple you and have extra money to spend those are the places to be.

If you want to go to Disney Broadwalk give yourself time. There is no direct route from the hotel. We had to take the shuttle to one of the parks then take another shuttle that went to the Epcot hotels. (Swan, Dolohin, Yaht club, Beach)

I loved it!
This was my first time staying at Disney's Port Orleans Hotel and I enjoyed just about everything about it. The staff couldn't have been friendlier and the grounds were absolutely lovely. Our room, although a bit small, was very clean, nicely furnished and very comfortable. I'll be back!
