Complimentary Wi-Fi service is now available in all Walt Disney World Resort hotels. Guests will now be able to access complimentary Wi-Fi in their rooms as well as in select common areas within the resort hotel, including restaurant locations, bus load zones, feature pools, arcades, convention spaces (if applicable) and the porte cochere.
Disney Hotel Resort guests also enjoy their Extra Magic Hours Benefit. On select days, Disney Resort hotel guests can enter a Disney Theme Park an hour early-and on select evenings, enjoy a Park up to two hours after regular closing time. That's when lines may be shorter and the weather can be more comfortable. Guests have time for a midday break or a dip in the pool. Then the gang will be ready to head back to the same Theme Park for more fun! Don't forget your Magic Your Way Tickets with Park Hopper Option! Pop Century Resort - 9/3/10
The road was long to get to main area. When we finally got checked in and got keys they told us the room/building was accross the parking lot. we got in our car (that was parked really far) to go find the building. it took us another 20 minutes to find the building; come to find out our room was through opposite doors of main lobby and driving was not necessary. bad signage and language barrier. bad beds, we checked out the next morning to go to a nicer hotel. The rooms in this hotel were like a cheap motel, worst experience ever. Dark,small and dingy. Requested to be moved to another hotel immediately. Staff once I reached the right person, (we had to go through 3 managers) came through for us and made the vaction perfect moving us to Port Orleans Hotel which was lovely.

Terrific hotel to take advantage of the Disney theme parks.
The hotel fit what we needed - ability to park the car and take the Disney transportation to and from the theme parks. Since we had no desire to spend a large amount of time in the room, having a plush environment was not needed. The food court was very loud and crowded during the breakfast hours.

You get what you pay for
The Pop century hotel was not what I expected. As soon as we walked into the room there was a bug crawling on the bed. However the room was clean and the staff was very friendly. It is a bit difficult to find because there is only one sign telling you how to get there. The two good things about this hotel is that it is cheap and there is constant bus service to all four Disney parks. I think next time I go to Disney I am going to upgrade to a better hotel. You do get what you pay for.

My review of Disney's Pop Century Resort
After a late night housekeeping was at the door at 830am on day of check out and kept coming back after they were told we wouldn't be leaving till after 10. Maintenance was making repairs in next room at 900am. That was not the type of wake up call we were looking for.

Last time there
Waited on a line for check in/out. Wrong line. Did not give shortest route to room. I parked my car walked to my room, and guess what no key in the package. The food in the restaurant area was horrible.

Pros and Cons
The hotel was nice from the outside. But when I went into my room, it was pretty basic. I know that I had the standard room, but there was nothing disney about the inside. TV could use more channels. Staff/bus drivers were nice and courteous. I booked my reservation several months in advance but wasn't allowed to lock in a king bed. Could only add a request in the computer system. So I did, twice. And when I got to my room, 2 double beds.

If staying for longer than a couple of days, get the refillable travel cup from the food court. Pay one charge and then free refills the rest of your stay.

Not so great
The bed was so stiff. My arms and legs kept falling asleep. Also, we could hear everything going on in the other rooms - the walls were really thin. We also found a bag of someone else's dirty clothes in our room! Thankfully, we didn't have to spend much time in the room but our next trip to Disney will be at a different resort.
