Disney's Pop Century Resort

The Pop Century Resort is perfect for families. A request for adjoining rooms and a refrigerator was honored with no trouble and proved to be extremely helpful for our family. There was an iron and ironing board, as well as a hair dryer in each room. A request for extra pillows was honored within minutes. The rooms were always clean and well stocked with linens. The pool was clean and well kept, as was the entire resort. The Staff proved to be knowlegeable, friendly and very helpful. The resort food court offered many different choices, although it would have been nice to have had nightly specials instead of a special that was served for three days straight. The bus service to all of the Disney attractions was constant and we never had to wait more than 10-15 minutes. If you want to dine at any of the nicer restaurants serving sit-down meals, it is strongly suggested that you make reservations months before leaving home.

We just recently returned from the Pop Century at Disney World. What can I say? It worked for us. I traveled there with two friends in their 20s as I am as well. We stayed 7 nights and had a blast. We loved having the cafeteria right there at the hotel as it was relatively cheap and the food wasn't bad and there were lots of choices. Operating on a tight budget worked at Pop. We always came home to a clean room, clean towels and no problems were to be reported. The only negative that we saw from our entire stay was that the buses seemed to be abnormally slow for pickups from the parks back to the hotel. But overall, it was a great trip and I would stay there again.

Disney's Pop Century was a value good hotel, with friendly and helpful staff. The atmosphere was fun, and the room was adequate and accommodations were as requested. The only complaint was regarding the transportation system- the buses were often very crowded and did not go directly to other resorts for dining or entertainment.

the Disney shuttle was direct to the hotel,clean , great pool,however NO TOWELS are provided at the pool...the one and ONLY complain!book with confidence..it is cute!

I loved this hotel everything was great, dining options, pool, room, clenliness, promptness in getting refrigerator for the room, promptness in answering questions from the front desk. The only small thing was the check-in clerk. She was friendly but at times made somewhat rude remarks that I didn't like. Also seemed to take an unnecessarily long time in getting us checked in. Her comments were somewhat sarcastic at times. Perhaps she was having a bad day. We especially liked the transport from the airport and to Disney from the hotel and back to the hotel and back to the airport. It was so nice and convenient to have these luxuries and I mean luxuries because when we travel by auto we invariably get lost; I shudder to think of us attempting to get a taxi or bus on our own for these transports. We are not city-folk and would most likely screw it up somehow. It was great to sit back and relax and let someone else do the driving. Also appreciated having the shuttle to the airport on the morning we left and being there in plenty of time for the flight.

This hotel was great, huge pool, and a variety of foods, my kid really enjoyed the trip.

Being a Disney Fan and wanting the Disney experience on a budget, staying at Pop Century is a GREAT idea. When checking in, check out all of the cool memorabilia from the decades of the 50s-90s. There is a little something for everyone to remember from their childhood. If you have kids, there are pools and an large arcade. There is even a ping-pong table at poolside for a something a little different. The room was ready prior to the check-in time of 3pm. The room was very clean as I always experience at Disney. The food is WONDERFUL!!! There are so many varieties to choose from. Anything from a burger and hot dog to Asian Chicken Salad and Mediterraen flatbreads.

I had stayed at Pop Century hotel back in 2003 and I really liked the atmosphere. When I was making plans to vacation in Disney World this year (2008), I made sure I stayed at Pop Century again, and I was even more satisfied this time because I got to explore the Pop Century grounds more throughly this time. The layout and colors make it such a pleasant environment to be in. The cafeteria has such a great variety of food to choose from. The gift shop has some different items that we didn't see at the Disney parks. And the hotel location is so close and convenient to all the Disney parks. Our hotel room was always nice and clean, and so were the hotel grounds. Next time I go back to Disney, I will definitely stay at Pop Century.
