OKAY

We made the trip reservations for my daughters 4th birthday. I called in advance to make sure that they would have the "something special" that they said they do. I also called to verify before we left that they would do something for her and they assured me that they would. When we arrived, I made sure at the front desk that they had "marked" that there was a birthday. When we arrived in our room, there was nothing. But I did not complain because we were going to be there for 3 days....I thought they would do it the next day...NOTHING! When we ordered room service it was a 1/2 hour late which set us off for the park. Finally, I complained on the last day and they did send up a signed card by Mickey...however, a very unfriendly lady delivered it. We had a GREAT trip....just not what I expected. Everything was average and I would not stay at this hotel again.

Great Hotel!

This hotel was definitely the best moderate resort in disney world that I have stayed in. Our room was clean and also located right next to a quiet pool so we could spend time away from the main pool where most of the kids were swimming. Would stay again!

Clean Room, Nothing Fancy, Worked For Us

The public spaces at Coronado Springs are beautiful and very well maintained, like all Disney properties. The room was nothing special, but it was clean and plenty big for the two of us. It would be nice if there were some upscale dining options at this hotel, but it's not a big deal as there are plenty of options at the other Disney properties which are all a short bus ride away.

Wonderful for a moderate resort

This was our first visit to Disney, and we did our research. We didn't want bare bones, but we couldn't afford the luxury resorts. Coronado Springs was perfect for our budget! Yes, it's pretty big and very spread out ... but you should expect to be walking if you're going to Disney. The staff was great - gave us an upgrade at no cost simply because we asked for it. The room was perfect - quiet with super comfy beds and bedding (and I'm rarely comfortable on hotel beds!). We also loved the sliding doors to keep the bathroom closed from the rest of the room! Our room was located halfway between the main pool and the bus stop. Transportation by bus to the parks was quick, painless. Only complaints: Food service was a little confusing, and the daily wifi charge was disappointing for what we paid to stay here. Otherwise, we loved it!!!

Unless you're going to spend a lot of time at the resort, don't bother with the refillable mug ... it's only good at the resort (and you have to go to the main building for refills).

Coronado Springs

Coronado Springs is excellent! We stayed there with our family for our son's second birthday celebration at Disney. The buses take you from the hotel to the parks so you don't have to worry about parking. They can be a little slow though so don't be in a hurry. There were restaurants for every price range. The staff was very friendly. We also really enjoyed the pool area. The pool is HUGE & had a great play area for younger kids as well as an awesome water slide! The rooms were clean & property was very well maintained. Only real problem was that we had to park pretty far away from our room when we returned to the hotel around 10:30 at night. Other than that it was fabulous & would definitely recommend it to other families!

Perfectly Disney

Overall, a lovely stay. Beautiful hotel, close to the parks, and so convenient to use the buses to travel to and from the parks. The staff was very helpful, bringing a crib and high chair to our room immediately upon our arrival. One criticism involves room size, esp for a family. We had to put the portable crib in the bath area and hardly had room to park our small stroller without folding it up each time we went into the room. Great swimming pool for kids. Good food, but pricey.

Great Getaway for Couples

My wife and I finished off a Florida vacation with 3 nights at Disney's Coronado Springs. Great getaway for couples. The property is superb. Very relaxing, quiet and restful. We walked along a 3/4 mile pathway each morning and evening. Clean, well kept room. Only negative was they discontinued the breakfast buffet at the Mayan Grill (something we had become accustomed to) just a few weeks before our arrival.

Average Experience

We were there for the first time to see the most awaited disney world. But Hotel is at a distance and we spent lot of time walking from our room to the bus stop. Bus service is quite slow and plan to waste atleast 75 minutes minimum if you want to hop from one park to other as there is no direct service. Concierge was helpful in explaining the setup of the resort, however the luggage people didn't want to work. 3 days are more than enough as after a while everything looks pretty much same.
