This was our first time staying in a Disney resort and I can't say enough good things. The staff was absolutely wonderful all the way down to addressing you by name. The pools were clean and easily assessible. The rooms were clean and even had the option to separate the bathroom with sliding doors which was great for us with girls that like to get dressed alone :) The shuttle service to the parks was heaven sent. The bus stops are close to the rooms and the buses come every 20 min. In fact, the longest wait we had was 10 min. The buses were clean and cool. The only down side was there was no microwave in the room. I would recommend Coronado Springs to anyone and would stay again.

Honeymoon at Disney

We spent most of the time out in the parks and really only stayed at the resort to sleep. We were satisfied with what was there and would probably stay at this resort again when we return to Disney.

Great Honeymoon

Lovely rooms. The outside decor is a little dated, but inside, the newly renovated rooms (all rooms have been renovated recently) are great. The layout is a little confusing, but easy enough to understand after a trip or two. The housekeeping staff is GREAT! A great value for a Disney resort, would highly recommend.

Best value on property

This is considered a moderate-level Disney resort, but it is such a fantastic value! Beautifully manicured grounds, comfortable rooms, walking trail around the lake (you can see the Fantasmic fireworks from the footbridge at 9:45 pm each night!), lots of food choices at Pepper Market (especially for "selective" children), hip Rix Lounge, and great main pool with Mayan ruins as its theme alongside a fun waterslide. Centrally located among all of the parks; in fact only a 5-minute drive to both Hollywood Studios and Animal Kingdom, less than 10 minutes to Magic Kingdom and Epcot.

Money-saving tip: In Hotel

Save money by eating breakfast at the Pepper Market before hitting the parks because it's usually the cheapest meal of the day. Large portions with lots of variety that will satisfy many appetites for less than $10 apiece.

Nice for short stays

Coronado offers comfortable rooms and a fun feature pool - our 2 primary needs. Be prepared for a fair amount of walking to get from rooms to the feature pool and/or dining options.

Perfect honeymoon!

We stayed in a business class king room and were impressed by how nice the room was. It was very clean and the doors dividing the bedroom from the bathroom area were especially nice. This room came with a blu-ray player, mini fridge, close proximity to the main building and bus stop, as well as access to the business club, Coconino Cove. Above all else, the club access absolutely made our stay! Every morning we had access to a quiet and relaxed breakfast complete with espresso, cereals, a variety of fresh fruits, yogurts, breads, and pastries, and every evening we had free wine, beer, cheese, crackers, salsa, hummus, and chocolate covered pretzels. It was so nice after a long day to stop in and unwind just down the hall from our room! We also found the club staff super friendly and helpful in making recommendations of what and where to eat, since the cafeteria and restaurants in the hotel weren't very good (we didn't have a problem with this since we love eating at Epcot, but it was disappointing a Mexican/Spanish-themed hotel didn't offer any decent Mexican or Spanish food). Overall, the club made this stay feel luxurious and absolutely perfect for our honeymoon for just a few dollars more than the other "preferred" rooms near the main building. This visit felt much more relaxed and less rushed being so close to everything. We will definitely be staying here again and look forward to our next visit, although I have my fingers crossed they'll at least bring the food up to par with the Port Orleans resorts next time!

4th July

I understand it was the 4th of July; however, it wasn't that much fun. When to do check inn and had to wait for adout 20minutes before somebody call us. My issue was I saw various employees just walking around and going back to the office for any reason, leaving the customer waiting. Then we want to purchase ticket, there were 4 employees working that area and 7 customers waiting. Then one employees took off to the back office another when to talk to the manager (I assue), then another had to go to the back office so after 30 minutes waiting in line the 7 customers became 3 and then we took off and purchase the ticket in the park. During dinner the food was great, the music was nice but the service was disappointing. It took our waiter about 20 minutes to get us a class of water and about 15 minutes to take our order.
