I traveled to Orlando from Philly to visit my son's family who were traveling from Houston. The hotel had our rooms ready when we arrived, however my son's family's room they had been assigned had not been cleaned. There was a dirty coffee cup on
the counter among other things. We went back to the front desk, the apologized and assigned them a different room (they were in a suite). My room was a one bedroom. Nice little kitchen area with microwave and fridge. My room looked over the Luna Pool, but it was closed for repairs. Not a big deal since it was cold while we were there. A few things that weren't up to Disney standards: the hot weather faucet in the bath area came off in my hand in the middle of thenight the first night. The sink also didn't drain. The little fridge made a pretty loud noise at night when it went on, so I turned it off. There was a fair amount of noise I could hear in the hallway. It woke me up two nights. Once there was a guy who his kids locked out (pretty funny) but it was around one a.m., so I wasn't so amused. The restaurants at the Boardwalk are so packed (what recession?) that you must have reservations or you aren't going to get in to eat unless you're willing to wait two hours.
