Fantastic
The room decor was just perfect. Fit in with the theme of the resort all the way from the shower curtains, to the little shampoo bottles, to the carpeting! Close to amusement park - regular shuttles to and from. Food in restaurant was tasty and wholesome... would appeal to families with picky eaters. Loved the entire experience.

Top notch value stay
As is typical with Disney, the attention to detail was amazing. Check in was easy from being greeted at the curb to being walked to the check in desk to having all paperwork processed and waiting for me. Two great pools, outdoor movies, outdoor ping pong, etc. were great diversions for children. Food available on site was delicious - not gourmet, but perfect for families/individuals looking for something good to eat without a lot of fuss and bother. The store with snacks, fresh fruit, juice, etc., was a convenient spot to pick up bedtime treats or a light breakfast. The room decor was delightful.

I stayed at the Allstar Music Resort for 2 days and enjoyed it. The shuttle from the airport and the shuttles around the Disney world resort were great! There is also a good cafeteria here.

Exceeded my expectations
I was going to Disney World for the Disney Wine & Dine Half Marathon, and booked a room here as it was one of the venues offering race transportation. I was traveling by myself. I knew it was a value resort so I wasn't expecting much but I was pleasantly surprised. The room was clean and it wasn't facing the pool so pretty quiet which was perfect, it was close to the pool and the main building where the food court and bus transportation was. It was only one bus to any of the parks. Staff was very friendly. I'd stay there again.

Running Through Disney
Cheap and Cheerful, but some good perks
Stayed at the All Star Music Resort when I was down for the Disney Marathon. Got a fantastic nightly rate on line. The rooms and facilities are very average, but the rooms were clean, there was adequate space and lots of towels. The fact that the Disney Hotels provide free shuttles to and from the airport made booking the hotel worth it. It is a 40min drive to the airport and this would be a significant cost if paying for a cab each way. By staying on the Disney property, you also get free shuttles to all of the parks and to Disney Downtown - again a real savings. So, unless you are planning on spending a ton of time in your room, or at the hotel, this is a good way to save some money and have more to spend at the parks. If you are going down to Disney to run any of the races, there are free shuttles to the race site from all of the hotels. Getting to the race site by car is an absolute nightmare and very time consuming, so again - those free shuttles are worth it!! Really irked me that nowhere on the entire Disney property could you pick up any free wi-fi. They want you to purchase the $9.95 daily rate to get access through your hotel. This is ridiculous in this day and age when free wi fi is available virtually anywhere.

Long walk from hotel
Request a room close to the lobby and food area, otherwise it may take 10 minutes to walk to your room in this multiple building hotel complex.

Perfect for what I needed
Check-in went smooth. My room was ready and clean. I met with old friends at the complex who had adopted a baby and we took her around Disney. The access to the buses and getting around Disney was excellent. The rooms are not very big for more than 2 people but the staff is very courteous.

Short walk from hotel
To rest or get out of the weather, there is a theater at Pleasure Island (can be reached by bus or boat). We took the kids to see a Disney Movie which gave us all a bit of rest so we could head out to the parks refreshed.

My Stay
Everyone was amazing at the resort! The staff was friendly, helpful, and even made sure that I had a late checkout and all accommodations I needed. The best service I've ever had! The room itself was beautifully decorated, but the shower was terrible & noisy. The toilet was also experiencing some issues.

Short drive from hotel
If you are looking for more meal choices and better food, I would go to Downtown Disney. Earl of Sandwich is a much better choice with better food at a better price.

Excellent price, great location
All Star Music is a great place to find kid friendly experiences and decently priced rooms for those looking to travel to Disney World on a budget. The rooms may be a bit small, but honestly, how often are you in your hotel room when traveling to Disney? The theme-ing ranges from Calypso to Country to Broadway to Rock music. The main building, Melody Hall, is where you will find the check-in desk, food court and Maestro Mickey's gift shop. The staff is more than helpful. The Mousekeeping (housekeeping) is wonderful. Clean rooms with some extras. I would come back from my day out and find hand towels twisted and molded into a bird, a butterfly, an elephant or even a Minnie Mouse! My friends, who were staying down the road at Coronado Springs, were jealous. I love the All Star Resorts. There is truly something for everyone.
