wake up call
Everything was great nice rooms very very clean. only one thing to complain about. After going out my las night in Orlando I called for a wake up call at about 2am for a 5am wake up. well come to my suprise there was no call. i did wake up at 430am myself.

Great place to stay!
This hotel was wonderful! Very clean roomy. The best part was it was tucked away off the main strip so you didn't have to listen to all the noise comming from the road! Food is very close by. The only thing I was slightly dissapointed with was the pool, only 5ft deep and got VERY crowded on the weeked.The staff was also very pleasnet and nice. I would most defentily stay here again.

No shulltle bus offered.
The Star Isand Resort was a very nice hotel. There were a few things missing. No shuttle bus offered by the hotel to and from the airport, you have to take a taxi. No sit down restaurant located on the property.

Pleasant place with suites
The hotel staff made every attempt to please me during the stay. Although I did not have time for recreation, they had many events throughout the day. The room had a comfortable kitchen with dining table and a full stock of dishes, pots, utensils, glasses, coffeemaker. There were two TVs, one with a DVD/VCR. Also there was a CD player. The landscaping staff began working at about 8am which made for a noisy awakening. The room was very clean with plenty of towels. The AC worked fine, but the water was not hot enough and smelled a bit the second day. The site needs a little more maintenance. The site has privacy and there is ample parking. The bed was a bit beaten up but not terrible.

There are a ton of places to eat along route 192. The site is very close to all theme parks and about half an hour away from Orlando International.

Suite accomodations
Excuse the play on words however the suite actually was very large and more than I expected. It was exceptionally clean and all the amenities that I used were 5 star.

I was there to spend time with daughter and family at Disney. The proximity was very convenient yet not too close.
