Legacy Vacation Homes (Disney Area Pool Homes)

Location was fine. The condo was pretty comfortable. The communication with the staff prior to arrival was suboptimal at best. Directions to the condo aren't given until 24 hours prior to arrival (1 hour in my case) as I was on the Florida Turnpike. They do not respond to phonecalls on weekends at all, or to messages left on their voice mail.

The house was filthy. Pool was dirty. No toilet paper. Interior smelled musty, like wet dog. Mattresses were old. Very limited number of towels for a four bedroom, three bath house. One burner worked on the stove. The pans to cook with were old and could not be used. The carpet in the house was stained and dirty. What a disappointment. The directions for putting out the garbage were the worst. They said to put out the garbage on Thursdays giving the reader the impression if was picked up on Friday morning. Two sentences down in the same set of instructions, it said to put the garbage out on Wednesdays after 6PM. I have rented homes from Legacy in the past and never had any of this happen with the first two.

I had no problems or real issues with my stay despite some of the horrible reviews. My home was gorgeous, clean and within a reasonable distance of theme parks. The only thing that would have made this trip 100% would only be to have some type of privacy outside in the private pool area. No fences and every neighbor can see and hear your every action when poolside. However nobody bothered us and we loved the pool.

Although we dealt with all of our issues, we found it odd that they went over the laws of grilling yet provided no grill. Also, I was not told that I had to pay WiFi. I was shocked to know that a service that your company doesn't pay for you don't provide. Also our bathroom toilets were ABSOLUTELY FILTHY. I contacted customer service on Saturday morning to question these issues and was met with a woman with a heavy Indian accent that didn't seem to understand me. So after 30 minutes of frustrations... I hung up.

The house was great everything was clean the only problem I really had with it was the beds in the master were a little small for two people and all the stuff inside was really dated. It was great for our family we had 2 children and our own pool we were not cramped up at all in this house.

1. Pools were cold in March. We had asked if we could have heated pool, they said it will be additional charge of $25/day. So we decided to get the pool heated for one of the days of our stay. We had 3 day stay. After touching the pool water on the first day we realized it's very cold and called the service to have pool heated for the last day and they said that they can't do it for our stay since it takes 3 days for pool to heat. We were surprised to hear the answer since we had called them several times before our trip about the same and nobody mentioned that it takes 3 days to heat the pool. Otherwise we would have given the instruction way in advance. Kids were really disappointed and we could not use the pool at all. We rented this place just for private indoor pool and we couldn't use it. 2. Pictures show much nicer/newer homes. When we went to the home we were allocated it seemed to be over 30 years old home. Overall the home was good.

Perfect location in the middle of it all. And there's more than enough to keep kids occupied on days that you decide to rest from the parks, including a great pool

They did not give the address to the house until 24 hours before the check it. This makes it difficult as we were almost denied entry to the USA with out an address and we have limited use of our phones because of roaming charges. They changed the address after we recieved our instructions to find another family in our house. Phone and email was turned off. Akward situation. House was beautiful. Couldnt use the pool because it was freezing. People should be informed that it is cold or they should have the pool heat on. We paid extra for the pool and didnt get to use it. I also contacted them months before to get the internet upgraded to our house but they could not do the upgrade without cancelling the order.Very inconvenient. Wifi is a must as a foriegn traveller. It would have made our trip much easier to navigate. Great house! Loved it. The administration of Legacy Vacation Homes was the only flaw.

The pool could have been heated free of charge, other than that, it was a good value. The drive to Disney was about 30 mins, depending on traffic. The drive to Universal was about 45 mins to and hour, depending on traffic. It was a nice gated community. We had to call a few times to get the right code, I don't like the fact you don't get your property address until 24 hours before you arrive!

The house was great but buy more toilet paper! The pool was not heated and very dirty. The beds were rock hard and the pillows were too soft. The location was awesome and overall things were great for the price.
