Great location- accommodating staff
Staff was great... We came on a day when there was a bad storm and floods... The staff was so helpful. When we got to the hotel they upgraded us from a regular suite to a 2 bedroom suite for no reason. Great location. Walking distance to Duvall st. I would definitely stay here again and recommend this to everyone.

Nice property. Some staff issues.
Recently stayed at the hotel with another couple. Great location. Excellent spa and restaurant. Gift shop has a nice selection. For the most part great customer service. Had an excellent time other than getting kicked out of the hot tub at 3 a.m Saturday morning by an angry man (Desk clerk) Were not bothering anyone (just me and my wife enjoying the stars ) but he said we were Violating hotel policy and procceeded to yell at us waking up several other guests. Security guard allowed us to use the hot tub the following night and the rest of our stay was enjoyable.

The Ocean Key is the only place we will stay going forward!!!
The wife and I have been to Key West over a dozen times and stayed at some high end places over the years. Our most recent stay at the Ocean Key was, by far, the best stay we have had. The staff are the nicest people both of us have come in contact with while traveling for business or pleasure; the cleanliness of our room was impeccable; the location is second to none; the pool and pool service were unrivaled. If you are going to Key West, do it the right way, and stay at the The Ocean Key. For all our future trips to the Conch Republic, we won't even consider staying somewhere else.

Go to Captain Tony's. It is an experience you will never forget! Also, when choosing places to eat, go out to the docks and experience some of the best places key west has to offer (Conch Republic, Turtle Krawls, Half Shell)

Ocean Key Resort Review
It was a very good overall experience. The hotel was under construction... But the rooms were really nice and very clean, the hotel staff especially those working the bar area near the pool were very social and helpful. I would definitely recommend to other patrons as well as friends and family.

Why stay anywhere else?
Perfect location and fantastic room we stayed in an ocean front boutique suite it was amazing! The hotel was sold out but it still had a very private feel to it Sunsets every evening, walking distance to everything you want to do. Take advantage of the expertise of the concierge, his restaurant recommendations and ideas of things to do were a hit. The front desk staff were great, very polite and they know the town well. One note: hang you're privacy please sign on the door the room staff knocks once then just opens the door to enter. If I could change one thing it would be the room staff. They were polite and took care of the room, but they slammed doors in the morning and were a little pushy about turn down svc in the evening. One knock, and they were coming in!

Short walk from hotel
Do a sunset cruise on the adirondack III. It's a schooner and the guys that take you out are a lot of fun. Beatiful sunset and its real sailing the boat leans and you may catch the occasional spray. Nice champagne toast at sunset. It's located near the schooner wharf bar which is also a great place to check out.

Quaint Escape in Key West
We really enjoyed the location and atmosphere of this hotel. The food was excellent, but very pricey. Our suite overlooked the ocean and had a marvelous view. Overall, good value for your money. The staff was very kind, friendly, and helpful. I would stay there again.

The hotel's food was very expensive, but well worth it compared to other places that charged the same amount for less quality.

Great getaway
This hotel has beautiful views, but beware. I was told that the first time we had stayed there we had an ocen view boutique suite. In reality, we had a one bedroom suite. We were disappointed thinking we were getting a room with a door, and we did not. When we called, they should have been able to confirm that our room from the year before was actually a one bedroom suite. It was still a great location, but it seemed as though the people answering the phone did not really know the layout.
