Wingate by Wyndham Jacksonville / Mayo Clinic Area

Hallway carpets could use replacing or really good cleaning to remove a few spots, but otherwise the place was very clean and well-run. Located on the edge of a shopping center so anything you need is accross the parking lot, including a Ruby Tuesdays. They have a shuttle to Mayo if you don't have a car, and if you do it's only a few minutes away. The breakfast was typically limited and boring, but adequate. Caution- I had reserved and prepaid for three nights, but my brother was discharged from Mayo early so I only stayed one, and the other two were not refundable. Better to do one night at a time.

I staid at this hotel for business. It was perfect for 2 nights . Don't need anything more.

this hotel is really nice. The room is clean, breakfast is great and the staff was wonderful.

For the price this hotel is top notch. The room and entire hotel were very clean and up to date, and had all the amenities we needed over the weekend. The king size bed was a great extra and was extremely comfortable, we didn't want to get out of bed the next morning. I would absolutely recommend this hotel to anyone, and we will be staying here again.

We have stayed twice now at the Wingate. It is very well located to be a base for a two day or longer visit for Mayo clinic. The nice breakfast buffet opens at 6:30 AM for the early birds who have 7:30 AM appointments. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, nice TV, and small microwave with a coffee maker, too. There is a good looking exercise room and pool for any having "extra time".

it was just a night for valentines day, but we were in the perfect location to get to ruth's chris for dinner, and not too far from the beach. only sad we could not upgrade to a jacuzzi room because we didnt book with the actual hotel

Several fiends and family meet at the hotel for a girll's weekend which included a comedy play at a local dinner theatre, dinning at some unique little cafes and just hanging out. We were impressed from the moment we drove into the parking lot which was clean and nicely landscaped. As we entered the lobby, we found it to be clean, bright and inviting. The staff was great and were eager to answer any questions we had about the surrounding area. We were delighted to learn that we were very close to many interesting attractions and wonderful resturants in Jacksonville. Our rooms were clean and very comfortable. The pool was indoor and outdoor an there was a nice hot tub as well. There was also a work out room, but we didn't use it. I can't rate the breakfast because we were lazy and did not make it downstairs in time. We all agree that we will choose this hotel on our next venture.

Pleasantly surprised at the spaciousness & cleanliness of the room. We arrived at 10:30 PM, tired & hoping for a decent hotel & room. We were checked in within 5 minutes & off to the room. The parking was well lit and the motel & room appeared newly remodeled-very clean! Several nice restaurants within walking distance. Very good free buffet breakfast which saved the two of us around $15.00 at a restaurant. Nice pool & hot tub, & exercise room with up to date equipment. I was so impressed with the value & quality of the hotel that I will make it a point to find another Wyndham hotel for my next stay. I will definitely stay at this same hotel the next time I'm in the Jacksonville area! They also have a shuttle bus leaving every 1/2 hour during the day to the Mayo Clinic Med Center which is just 5 minutes away.

This was my second stay at the motel and the level of helpfulness was deeply appreciated. Thanks for making my somewhat strenuous health issues more bearable.
