Best Western Hotel JTB/Southpoint

Nice location, Some of the nearby road ways can be confusing, look at your map before you gear in to drive. Hotel was clean, parking lot out back seems very secluded, didn't notice any security cameras... otherwise, nice, clean, accomodating

I'm easily pleased. The hotel staff was friendly, and the desk clerk was very understanding/helpful when addressing my Orb.itz reservation issue (read warning below). The only things that I wish the hotel room had were a microwave and refrigerator, but other than that it was fine. A first-time hotel experience for me was that the bathroom was missing a shower curtain, but the staff took care of this immediately. WARNING: Orb.itz apparently has a manual system for electronically transmitting reservations to BW, so sometimes BW does not received the reservation. I recommend that you call the day prior to your stay and have the hotel staff check.

The hotel was nice and clean. The room was comfortable. The wifi was adequate. Breakfast was nothing special but adequate.

Never heard back . 4.Got to hotel at noon front desk telling people come back at 2:30 for check in. 5.He couldn't find my res. Gave him Res number. 6. Got back at 3 and got 2nd Floor Elevator room. thank you much

We booked this room for a one-night stay in JAX and have stayed at a number of other hotels in the area. We got this one thinking it would be a bit nicer than the others as it was more expensive. The room was relatively clean, but little issues like a very noisy fan, a crooked towel rack, a rusted-out toilet bottom, and very thin sheets/blankets it was enough to make us displeased with the room. We will not book here again, but would say it is okay for the price and for a short stay. (While she was eventually friendly, the front desk employee had me standing and waiting for 5-7 minutes while she was on the phone and did not acknowledge me at all. Not a big thing, but some small courtesies can go a long way.)

Check in was easy & check out. The room was average, one drawer was missing from the dresser in front of bed and one of the lamps did not work, the room had a closed up ordor. These things should be taken care of before room is rented. For staying in Jacksonville the location is in a good area felt safe there, close to a Dunkin Donuts.

This hotel was satisfactory in every way. I paid only 66.00 a night and that included breakfast. Not outstanding food but certainly adequate for me to get my day started. Very nice desk staff and cafeteria staff... The room was basic but had everything I really needed. They had shampoo and lotion. The shower had a good head on it and plenty of hot water. The bed was a king and very comfortable. They used those smaller little pillows instead of bigger ones but with 4 to work with I muddled through... The A/C unit was not very quiet but it wasn't enough to wake me from my sleep. Check in and out was painless and fast. Front desk was helpful and they gave me a direction sheet which had everything most people would want to navigate to almost anywhere in the general area. Its right next to a Dave and Busters, but within 10 minutes there are many terrific restaurants, and a 20 theater movie theater. There was a police K-9 meeting in the hotel and dogs where everywhere. This is a pet friendly hotel and many people had animals. I never smelled any foul odors however. Overall this is a lower end hotel which was kept very clean and for the money can't complain at all. Great value...

The location was great and the hotel was OK. The room looked like every average hotel I've stayed in. There was a flatscreen TV and the bed was comfortable but the bathroom could use some updating. It looked very tired. I did get a great price through some online discounts so it was worth it to stay there.
