It was a quick nights stay on our way through. Was very nice.

Stopped here on our way to another destination. It was nice. Pool looked to be nice too but we arrived at night and didn't get to use it. Bar staff was accomadating as they waited on us even though they were about to close.

Not quite 4-star

The first thing my wife and i enjoy upon arriving in our hotel after a long flight is a cocktail. The ice machine on our level produced nothing so I went to took the stairs to a level below us and their machine was inoperative. I then took the elevator to the 2 levels above us and their machines were inoperative. I finally made the call for ice to be delivered to the room and about 2 hours later it arrived. This was not a good way to start our stay. We also like to chill a bottle of wine for some in room relaxation and of course the refrigerator was loaded with bar supplies. The ice buckets are too small for this job. I do feel that a 4-star hotel would have these amenities at a minimum.

New Year 2015

Good location, good atmosphere, clean room and nice staff. However, the restaurant staff is very slow and when taking dishes off the table would not clear the extra items like napkins and straw paper. Pet peeve but it's about service. Portions are large so I would suggest getting small plates or a dish to share. Issues-The elevators didn't work for a day but there was no sign saying so. The room was very humid, could have use a dehumidifier. We were not in the hotel much but when we were it was noticeable. I would go back but I would request a dehumidifier if available. Good location and easy to find.

I love Florida but....

I thought the quality of this hotel was below par: -stains on the carpeting -cobwebs were found in the corners of the room -mini fridge was dirty and had food/mold inside of it -neighbor had a dog which barked whenever anyone closed the door -the pool had only 15 chairs which was not enough for the population of the hotel -the elevator went down for 2 days and we had to take the service elevator -the toilet backed up and had to be fixed -we went to check in at 3pm and were told the room was not ready. We checked in at 6:30pm. we were given 2 drink tickets for waiting. -there was also a $1200 hold put on my credit card for a room that I already paid for.

Everyone was great! Except one person.

Absolutely loved the hotel staff and the hotel itself. We stayed for a week and loved every minute of it..with one exception. On our last night (a friday night), we got in about 9:30pm and decided to treat our family to dinner and drinks at the hotel's lobby bar. The asian chef ( I guess he was) was extremely rude and treated us as if we were completely wasting his time and kept saying over and over that he was the only one there and if we wanted food to hurry up and order now!. He left and went to the kitchen I guess and later on another tall gentle man came to assist him and was completely courteous and asked if we would like anything and even gave us an extra french fries. He was a delight. We ended up spending almost $300.00 on food and drinks but believe me we could have gone somewhere cheaper and probably would not have dealt with an extremely rude and obnoxious chef (or bartender). I hope the tip we gave went to the other gentleman. Anyway, that was the only incident. Loved the other staff and hotel itself. :-)
