A REAL DUMP

The room stunk. We slept with our clothes on over the stinking bed spreads. This place should be taken off your list.We should get our money back for the one night we stayed. WE checked out in the am and booked another room somewhere else. This place should be torn down to let the rats out !!!!

Arguably the Worst Hotel I've Stayed At

Please heed my warning: this is an extraordinarily poorly kept hotel with indifferent to hostile staff that one should avoid if at all possible. After I got over the fact that I would be spending the night in this gritty, dirty hotel, I realized that their was NO WATER IN MY ROOM--or the entire hotel for that matter. Long story short, after many. many hours of hearing the staff say that it would be fixed "soon" I had to book at another hotel, as not being able to use a toilette or a shower is, not surprisingly, a deal breaker for me. Incredibly, this hotel REFUSED TO REFUND MY ROOM CHARGE and became aggressive and hostile about the situation. I have never, in all my years of intensive travel, ever experienced such an unethical hotel business. Bottom line: this is an unkempt hotel that hasn't been renovated in decades whose staff has no interest in providing the bare minimum of standard hotel courtesy and responsibility.

Hasn't been cleaned since Spring Break

I gave this hotel a chance since it was featured as a special deal and seemed like a good location. Everything about this hotel was run down. TV not working properly, toilet seat broken, shower dirty, walls, doors, furniture in disrepair.

Great Value for the location

Here, it is an average hotel... but the rooms are alot cleaner than most and the location is unbeatable. You are right down the street from the famous Las Olas Blvd strip and can walk with a nice crowd nightly or daily. Right across the street from the beach and if your lucky enough to get a balcony room close to the front, you will see the beach very nicely. Your next a really big time hotel on one side, which can feel pretty good for the fraction of the price you paid to be in the same location. All and all- worth the value in every penny.

Dated, but great location

The location was perfect - first room was horrible - smelled bad, lights didn't work -gave me another room - much better - but hotel a little "shabby" and out of date - tv remote didn't work, only got a few channels - but staff very nice and accomendating and the location was perfect - if you just want a place to sleep - not a bad place to stay for the money.

Diamond with some rough.

This hotel was great for someone that only needed a place to leave some bags and get some shut eye. The beach is literally arcoss the street and it is just a couple minutes walk from many fine restaurants. "The Deck" is the eatery at the hotel, I would not recommend much here, but the price was much lower than the rest. Easy to get in and out of the hotel, parking was great. If you are in town for an event that will keep you busy during the waking hours then you can't beat the price and location. If you need to spend time in the room waiting or if you get sick, you don't want to stay here, the room was very stuffy, old fixtures with lots of rust, I would not sleep under the sheets, but it was 80 out most of the time so I wasn't cold. The AC in the room was loud, but did keep the room cooler and more fresh then when it was off. All in all I would recommend this hotel to the budget conscious with something to do other than hang out in the room.

Save money at this hotel and spend it at Ruth's Chris steakhouse. Best steak I've ever had. I am not a sushi fan, but the seared Auhi-Tuna was outstanding!

Worst than the Muppets "Happiness Hotel" if you remember the movie

Don't bother it is a dive from the fifties, I could not wait to leave the lobby and gps another hotel...no matter how far I had to drive. Hookers in the hall ways and drunken kids staggering out of rooms. We did not stay after seeing the lobby.

rude..

staff was horrible and rude, especially at the restaurant. i went here with 2 friends for a cheap, quick getaway. needless to say I will not be staying here ever again. The location and the price were great, but it was not worth the way we were treated. The rooms are musky, and old. Needs a total renovation.
