ESCAPE FROM MIAMI
The hotel is very old. The room is an efficiency but there are not kitchen utilities. No shampoo in bathroom. We are two block from the beach and the location was very good.

Good location
The loacation was great. Walking distance to the beach so that you didn't have to pay for parking. The room itself had a odor to it. Had to purchase a room airfreshener to mask the smell.

It is what it is
If you are not planning to spend much time in the room and you just need a place to crash, it's fine. (Especially if you are on a very tight budget and you aren't "picky.") The room is clean. It's a relatively depressing room if you stay in there too much. If you are a couple of Frat boys or need a cheap place while you work in the area....or are hiding....this is the place. The staff is nice...the beach is close...it's on a very quiet side street in the shadow of HOTELS. There is a GREAT bar/restaurant down the block. It's a place to leave your luggage, take a shower and sleep.

Not bad at all for the price
had a very nice experience. the staff was very nice and helpful. if the owner would update the hotel they would make more money. good location right by the beach

Two night stay.
I actually thought this was a pretty good deal for the price. About one block away from beach. Nice quaint corner with other small hotels. The room was great ; however the bathtub tile needed to be repaired. The widow shutters took alot of adjusting to get privacy. The soda machine was empty. One washer and dryer up under a cubby hole. If looking for a inexpensive place close to beach this will work!

First off, I was not pleasantly surprised....I was AMAZINGLY SURPRISED! It wasn't the Larger more luxurious hotels that offer all the flash. This place was perfect for my needs. It had what i like to call the "3-als"...PRACTICAL, ECONOMICAL AND FUNCTIONAL. lol It had what i needed for the price I paid and served me well. I've already told them I will be returning.

Staff was helpful
The beds were comfortable. The staff was helpful and understanding. My room had a decent size fridge and microwave. A block from a bar, across the street from the beach.
