Renaissance Fort Lauderdale Cruise Port Hotel

Beautiful property. Greeted and assisted by knowledgeable bellhop, checked in by engaging front desk staff, and enjoyed two nights at this great hotel. Room was well-appointed and clean and the bed was soooo comfortable! Location is perfect for cruisers. Drug store right across the street; hotel restaurant excellent and tons of other restaurants within a half mile; grocery and wine store within a half mile; right on trolley line to beaches; and contract vans on site to take you to the ship on your schedule for $6 per person. Perfect!!

It was an overnight stay. I felt very comfortable. The amenities did not include a shower cap or mouthwash. Otherwise, a very good hotel.

Hotel was gorgeous! Clean, modern decor! Very acomodating staff! Friendly staff helped with recommendations and directions. Requested a refrigerator, and a fan- Brought it right up to us! Enjoyed the clean pool & hot tub. Gave us a discount on self parking! Loved the "cucumber water" & orange water in the afternoons! Loved it! Would definately stay again!

This is a very functional hotel as regards proximity to the airport ( 3 miles) and cruise port (walking distance), and a short ride to the famous Fort Lauderdale beaches, (about 2 miles). The Renaissance offers a very nice pool and hot tub and their breakfast buffet is wonderful and reasonably priced.

While the room was nice, clean and comfortable...I couldn't believe we were charged $25 per day to park our car. We also did not have free wireless internet service in our room. I could have stayed at any old place and gotten that but not here at the nice hotel. Very disappointed!! Will not stay there again.

The Renaissance was wonderful. The service was great and I was impressed by the service and cleanliness of the room. I was traveling alone, and I always felt safe and welcome. The lounge and restaurant were extremely good. The only down side was the parking fee of $25. If you have visitors, this is the one downside of the hotel. They should come up with another plan for visitors of hotel guests. Other than than, I would stay there again if Im in that area. Overall, it was a very positive experience.

Stayed during a weekend to see the Phila Eagles play in Miami. This hotel is one of the best I have ever stayed at. Rooms and view are beautiful. Covenient to everything. Close to FLL. Restaurants and stores within walking distance. Pool and Hot Tub are great. Cannot think of one constructive feedback to give.

We loved the hotel location. Very convenient to get to numerous attractions including the malls, water taxi, and bus service. The staff, especially Debra, at the Front Desk was very helpful with giving us information on all of the attractions and how to get to them.

The locations was wonderful we could walk to any thing, shopping, food, dollar tree. The staff was great if we needed something they were ready to help. The room had hair on the sheets, no amendites except a tv, wet bar (which we used to store our water) and iron/board and blow dryer. oh yes we did have a one cup coffee/tea maker in the room. We will choose another location on the beach when we go again. No free wifi, no micro wave. those are things I want so I can take left over back to the room to eat later. Plenty of Hot water.
