Perfect It For Me
Love the BR
Nice location. It took awhile to get to my room since the hotel curves. Spacious. Loved the bathroom!!! Love how the bathroom seperates from the closest and you can easily store your luggage and get un-dressed in a chic way. The shower can fit four people!!

Meh
It's was mediocre. Lobby and pool grounds build up room expectation. Rooms were a disappointment. Parking is $21 a day! Explained at check in, nice touch.

Getaway for a weekend.
Nice place.
We enjoyed our stay. The Pool / Hot Tub is wonderful. The staff were very helpful. Unfortunately, our non-smoking room was used by smokers (who left their butts & empty packs on the porch) previous to our arrival. The hotel did promptly clean it up, and spray something in the room to eliminate the smell (mostly). I think they are a bit over priced for what you get, but it worked well for our trip. I would stay again. Too bad the rotating bar / restaurant is now an event room... The pool bar could be open later than 6 pm, as well. It is so nice there. We enjoyed sitting out there, in the evenings.

Dining tip:
Short walk from hotel
Go to the on site bar on the docks. It is a nice view of the intracoastal and the staff is well trained. The burger was delicious.

BAD - avoid it
It resembles a hostal or at best a 3 star hotel with a pool. Staff are civil. The reception area warns of what they offer. Poor quality, the cheapest furniture and decor and only superficially clean. We were allocated a 'Lanai' room, low buildings set around the pool area. Our ground floor room 2053, is basically furnished with a few bits of cheap furniture, absolutely stank of rotting mold, so bad it threw my wife into an asthma attack and me, who has no allergies, suffered burning tongue and nasal passages. (Parasthesia) We were driven out by the extreme dangerous discomfort. The bedsheets were very damp. Official complaints are laid with the Florida Public Health & Safety Dept. Complaining, we waited far too long around midnight wandering around the rotting complex with luggage like refugees before being transferred to another room on the 2nd floor. No pillow choices. The ones supplied are small square and cheaply filled. $20 a night parking. Next day the management treated our problem with concern, taking notes and cancelling the breakfast charge. No room charge refund though, so they don't care about their reputation. Breakfast - food quality good, but a poor selection served in what appeared a makeshift room off the cavernous ugly reception area, where tables and portable cooking devices are pushed . Most unprofessional but fits with the rest of the appalling offering. They add insult to injury by charging around $200 a night when its worth only $90 at most, and at that if they sharpened up their act . Management is very poor. Glen Spanier- Manager (1/7/12) admitted to me that "We are aware we have many challenging issues" ! Room Tip: take another hotel. or if you must stay here - insist on a room in the tower block. Hyatt should consider removing their name, its a bad reflection.

Not What an Accessible Room should be
In April 2012, I was at this hotel because I found at great senior rate of $89 a night earlier in the year. Everything was excellent except the floor is all tile (except around the bed, there is a mat type carpeting in which I have stumbled over a couple a times) and there are at times I had almost fell down because when I take a shower in the walk-in shower (no tub) which I have asked for can be very slippery, I had to hang on to everything. The staff were excellent in helping in trying to get an accessible taxi to the ship as I was renting a powerchair for this trip and on the cruise. Will I stay at this hotel again? Probably not because there were no place to eat except the high priced restaurant.and the rooms are too dangerous as I have mentioned earlier.
