Spartan, institutional and musty
I had a nice room at the back facing a white wall. I felt like I was in prison. Just try to get a feel for the weather looking into a 5' space. The A/C smelled like mold, but I had to run it 24/7 because it was so hot. One computer for guest use with no printer. I had to forward to the hotel computer to have anything printed and had my confidential documents given to me piecemeal. TV was terrible. Only a few channels that had real movies or shows on them. No in-room movies, no DVD players; it was like being back in the 80's. Cleaning staff was great, hotel was clean, but nothing special. No bar, no food on location except breakfast which looked like processed food and closed down early, it seemed.

Worked/ but not the Ritz!!
The staff was friendly but only one at the check-in and check-out. Long waiting line. The room served it's purpose for a pre-cruise stay, however I wouldnot spend a week there for a vacation.

Good
hotel staff was nice, internet went down and they were on the ball fixing it. awesome breakfast(free). Some of the sheets were stained but overall a good hotel.

It was ok but as good as the last HI E
attended a conference. The internet was down part of the time, the complementary breakfast was cold. The exercise room was very good. Could been better

Second time we have stopped pre cruise. Great service, was at the airport to pick us up right away. fast check in and out. good location. Too bad there is no pool,but that is hard to change!! We'll go back!

Decent, except for the weird smell.....
The hotel itself was fine, and the staff were friendly and helpful. We liked the location, and the rooms were clean, the bedding comfortable. The only thing that bothered us was the hotel is right next to the water purification plant. So while you stood outside waiting for your shuttle or taxi, the odor was almost enough to run you back inside. Not the hotels fault, but still, I made my husband wait outside for everything. haha.

There is a trolley that you catch right in front of the hotel that will take you on a one way ride to the Galleria Mall for .50 cents. You can get off anywhere on the route, which passes right by the beach. You just hop on and off for .50 cents each ride, or buy an all day pass for $2.

spring break
the hotel is very close to the airport. The first day and a half we had no internet access and we had to call the front desk several times. They had a technician come out to help fix the problem, eventually we had to change rooms. Room 209 is not the room to be in. Breakfast was good, had a variety of things to choose from. we rented a car so it was pretty easy to get around. the rooms were clean and that was one of the most important things to me.
