Totally awesome!

The Hilton Ft. Lauderdale Beach is beautiful. Great staff, great location, incredible room/suite. This hotel has condos. I assume they all didn't sell so they are used as rooms. Complete kitchen with stainless steel appliances. Walk in closet, hugh master bath with sunken tub with jets. Great ocean views. I loved it.

only one complaint

We were going on a cruise the next day, stayed one night. Rooms were nice and clean, staff was friendly and helpful, pool area was great, have to get there early to get a chair, they charge you for shaded cabanas (rip-off). There was a fight on the pool padio level @ 2:am, kids screaming and yelling for a 1/2 hour. didn't see any hotel staff of security anywhere... kinda scary. lots of stuff to do within walking distance, lots of bars and shops.

Terrific location on the fort laud beach strip. Hotel was beautiful and pool view was amazing. King suite was very big and had plenty of room. Suites didnt have any dishware or silverware. Staff members were very accomodating and friendly.

unbelievable time for the price

We were delighted that upon arrival our room was all ready for us. We were highly impressed with our rooms view and overall location of the hotel for the price we paid. We loved the beach across the street. Our first morning had some windy rainy weather so we decided to explore the spa. [...] gave us each great head neck and shoulder massages. It passed the morning storm and soon enough we were by the poolside which we loved. The view of the ocean from the pool was spectacular too. Staff was always friendly and helpful and took care of any problems or questions we had. We couldn't have asked for a better stay!

Great location for beach & restaurants.

We were there for our son's wedding. Enjoyed the location for beach and proximity to restaurants and other activities. We were able to use cabs, walk, or use water taxi to get around. Restaurant was pricey for lunch and breakfast, but there are other choices within walking distance.

The water taxi was a fun way to get to restaurants and bars located around the intercoastal waterway.

Don't stay here!

We stayed at this hotel for our one year anniversary. The experience was not what we were hoping for. The major issue with this hotel is the pool and pool deck. They are SO small! We arrived at the pool around ten every morning, but each lounge chair was already taken. We went to a beach resort and were only able to relax by the pool one time! There is no outside bar to sit at, either. With 24 stories, you would think that they would have a much larger pool and deck area. Also with that size of hotel, you would expect to find more than four elevators (though only three were operating). The restaurant is very expensive, so you expect something great. It is good, but not great. The valet situation is ridiculous. We waited almost a half of an hour for our car after calling down to retrieve it. When paying $30 a day, that is uncalled for. There should be a self-parking option anyway. You pay the $30 fee per day and usually don't even use your car at all, because everything is within walking distance. That is a plus to the hotel-great location. Also, the rooms are big and beautiful, with large balconies. So, if you are there on business, have patience for really slow valet service, and don't plan on enjoying the pool, then stay here. If not, stay at the MARRIOTT HARBOR BEACH RESORT AND SPA. We stayed there last year and it was wonderful(Huge, gorgeous pool area and right on a private beach, as opposed to across the street from a public beach). We should have spent the extra $50 a day this trip and stayed there again! We won't be staying at the Hilton again.
