Hampton Inn Ft. Lauderdale Airport North Cruise Port

Being close to the airport and cruise ship ports plus offering free shuttle service to both made it a good value.

Hotel stay was totally enjoyable. Fron the moment of arriving unto departure, the entire staff was cheerful and pleasant and most eager to help. The hotel and the rooms and inparticular the beds were extremely clean and inviting. I would definitely go back.

This hotel was perfect!! It was everyhting we expected. Clean, comfortable hotel with very friendly staff.The hotel was near a shopping center and very close to the cruise port which is what we wanted. The hotel also provided suggestions on nearby restaurants and a free shuttle to the resturants and the cruise port. Overall, this hotel was a good choice and I would book again.

Very easy airport/cruiseport transfers, just look for the white van with the flamingos on top! We stayed pre and post cruise and the hotel did a top notch job. They even let us check in at 8 am post cruise as they had a room available, no fuss at all. I always choose Hampton because of the 100% guarantee, exceptionally clean and up to date. That and the full hot breakfast! There is a shopping center next door with a Winn Dixie, Big Lots and Beall's Outlet for last minute shopping as well as pizza and Thai food.

Stayed the night before our cruise. Great location, clean rooms, nice breakfast (included) and very helpful staff. They offer free shuttle service to the cruise ship, however, with all the mega ships going out at the same day, the hotel is full and 90% of those staying there need to get to their cruise ship on the same day. They have a time-slot sign up sheet when you check in and they are very organized. However, be patient as your exact time might be 30 min. or so later, esp. in the afternoon. The guy's have tons of very heavy suitcases to put on their vans for you then they have to fight some standard back-up traffic at Port Everglades to drop you off - none of which is their fault. So be polite and nice to their staff (& tip your shuttle driver)!! They are working hard & they do get you there. The shuttle list is first hotel check in's so if you check into the hotel at 6-7pm , the earlier (11:30am-1pm) shuttle spaces are filled. Our shuttle was 1:30pm but we still got to the ship by 3pm, no problem. If you want to be the first on the ship, then pay $10-15 and get a taxi. Staff was very patient and they took a lot of unnecessary flack from some unreasonable and rude people (shame on them!). Chill out! You're on vacation!

We picked this Inn as a lay-over for a cruise. Price was good and fair. We were pleased with the quick complimentary shuttle pick up from the airport, a ride to dinner at a great dockside bistro and the drop off at the ship the next day.

We chose this hotel because of the free airport/port shuttle, as well as the good rate, and we were very pleased. The hotel is clean and nice, and the staff is excellent. We were there at a busy time, so the shuttle took a while. But it was so nice to have one less thing to worry about.

The place was very clean and the staff was helpful and friendly. We would definitely stay here again.

Called hotel as soon as we got our luggage at the airport and they were there to pick us up within 15 minutes. The hotel staff was friendly and informative about places to eat within walking distance. They had free internet service so we were able to get our boarding passes printed for the next morning. They sceduled our free shuttle back to the airport the next morning and were there waiting with no delay. The free hot breakfast was a great added bonus for us.
