getting run down

Have stayed here before a cruise in the past--like the area--lots of stuff within walking distance. Close to port also. hotel is starting to show wear and tear--needs work in bathrooms and has some cleanliness (Dust and mildew) issues. Main desk has issues--ask 3 different people the same question--get 3 different answers. Some of the front desk staff is also quite snippy. Others extremely nice. Need free shuttle to/from port and also to/from airport. Like the concierge desk

Travelled from Waynesboro, GA to Fort Lauderdale The accomodation my cousin made fell through and I was able to reserve a suite, receive early checkin to attend the wake that afternoon and funeral the following day and rest well. Thank you!!!

Pre Cruise Hotel

The hotel was not at all what I was expecting. Reminded me of an old Holiday Inn hotel from the 80's. Could use some updating. The food selection in the restaurant was very limited and what was available was not very good. The free breakfast was decent.

great location for what we needed.

we thought the room rental was i believe $90 or so but we were billed $142. no itemization ever given. a bit of a disappointment. we did not know they charged for parking which would have been good to know. overall it was a nice hotel and the staff were very friendly. bathroom water ran 24/7 but closing the bath door kept the room quite enough. location of 4 blocks from cruise terminal and close enough to all kinds of shopping was perfect for us.

A big mistake !!!

Our stay was plaqued with issues. Smoke scented room and a staff who said there was nothing they could do about it. Cigarette butts on balcony. Dirty dishes and silverware in waterway in Atrium and staff said would look into it, was worse buy end of stay. Breakfast was average. Charging $9.95 per day for internet access is a rip-off. Went and had lunch at Panera Bread across street and used free wi-fi there and cost less to eat too. The only good that we found was their valet service for parking was excellent. Very dissatisfied and so unlike many Embassy Suites elsewhere.

love, love, love

This was my second time staying there and it was fantastic both times. The room was super comfortable and so clean that I didn't mind letting my one-year-old play on the floor, which is usually not something I'd consider in a hotel room. The pool was wonderful, the breakfast was magnificent, the location was extremely convenient, and every staff member I encountered was both professional and friendly - I mean, how often does that happen?! I was extremely impressed. The only issue I had was that there are apparently only a handful of luggage carts and we were not able to get our hands on one either coming or going, and since traveling with a small child necessitates lugging extra items along on trips, that was a bit of an inconvenience. But overall, we had an excellent and very satisfying experience and would absolutely stay there again and again!

Perfect Hotel before cruise!

My husband and I stayed at this hotel for one night before going on a cruise. The hotel offered a cooked-to-order breakfast, along with the regular continental breakfast. It was a beautiful hotel, both inside, and outside by the pools. Clean, nice hotel. I would stay there again.
