Days Inn Fort Lauderdale-Oakland Park Airport North

I would rate my experience at this hotel, average. good value for the money but bad location right in front of the railroad tracks, and you can really hear every bit of the train as it passes by. the hotel was pretty to look at but the rooms were not as comfortable as I would have preferred. On check in, the desk clerk was arguing with a customer that was not satisfied. I stayed only one night, complimentary breakfast, fine.

The front office staff were friendly and efficient checking in and out was the fastest I have ever experienced.The airport shuttle took a bit to come on arrival, but did get there, and got me to the airport in record time on return. The rooms did not get cleaned until very late in the day, I had time to run all errands in the morning till early afternoon and still beat housekeeping . The pool could have been a little cleaner being that not many people seem to utilize it but there fitness room was very nice and so was the continental breakfast.

This the worst room I have ever stayed in. There were roachs and ants in the beds. Dirty towels on the floor. After a shower, walking on the carpet, our feet were black. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

This hotel was the dirtiest hotel i have ever stayed at. There was trash everywhere and there were bugs in the beds.

Location is a bit misleading about being close to the airport as it is about 15 minutes depending on traffic. Also close to a railroad that was loud during the night. Staff was ok but not overly enthusiastic. Overall I guess it was about average at best.

Normal experience. The hotel is in a railroad intersection, but surprisingly, it was nice for us!

I recently visited Fort Lauderdale to visit family and friend allover Miami. On arriving I recieved a smoking room which I was quite unaware that I must have chosen in error because I was up to my neck in sinus medications. The sent a air purifier to the room for the duration of my stay since they could not transfere me to a non smoking room, I was very greatfull for this and Hoptons mirracle air freshner formula. The staff was always courteous and friendly and that made my frustrations with the situation dwindle to the back ground. My mothers sinus did start to act up though by the end of the trip.My 8 medication were workin miracles.Wish they would shampoo there carpets. And change the comforters and blankets with holes that was kinda disturbing.

the room smelled like mold and cigarettes even thou it was supose to be a non smoking room. it was noisy all day while i was there. with a train going by every hour adding to the noise. there was all kind of shady people hanging around. i could hear every persons conversation from outside the your door. i could not sleep .!!!! i got my room changed for a quieter room but that did not work out either it was still noisy i could hear the train louder and the people fixing the pool and the guys all hanging outside my door. i didnt have no sleep that night either so i checked out the next day i didnt feel safe and it smelled and i didnt get any sleep. point blank i hated it and i will never book a room there again! i feel i should be reimbursed for the hotel stay.

The experience started with over a 1 hour wait to get picked upi fromt the airport. The manager was gracious to refund us some. The room was good. Close fast food. Shuttle was helpful.Pool seemed nice. Free brunch looked good but did not start until 6:30, we had to leave at 6 AM.
