Sleazy hotel

The hotel room was not fit for a dead rat. Looked and smelled like a sleazy pay by the hour cheap motel room you see in the movies. Gross! This is why they do not have pictures available on line as other hotels do. I refused to stay there and had to make other arrangements. [...] It dosen't even deserve a minus star

Great location, great fun

I have stayed at this hotel many times because of it's location and water front bar/restuarant. The food and entertainment is always good. It's a great place to meet new friends. If you are looking for a fancy hotel this is not your type of place. The hotel is old and has several different buildings. All the rooms that I have stayed in have been clean and I have not seen any bugs. Some beds were more confortable than others. Valet Parking is free so this is a big plus in this area.

Entertainment tip: Long walk from hotel

The walk to the Beach place is around a mile but it is well worth it. The beach and ocean is visible and there are lots of outdoor Cafe's that feature entertainment that you can take in while walking. When you need a break just stop in for a jumbo Margarita, catch a song and head to your next stop.

hot spot in Lauderdale

neat place to hang out with plenty of "eye candy"...hotel rooms were ok, The bar/restaurant is famous for music and good food at reasonable prices. The water taxi stop is right next door...don't miss this attraction and see loads of big houses and even bigger yachts.

the water taxi.....take it around the water ways of Ft. Lauderdale and see loads of huge houses and luxury yachts.

Spring Breakers ONLY

Overall, the hotel is not bad. But if you are not going down to party, don't go. The resteraunt is packed almost every night and is loud. It is a great location with good food. This however creates a terrible parking condition. You will have to use the Valet. The staff is friendl and provide good service. My room, however severely in need of updating, was clean everyday and the bed was comfortable. Good hotel for the price, especially if you are looking for a good time. If you are not interested in screaming drunks, no parking, and loud music... not for you.

I was disappointed but clean

The stay was okay but they had construction goin on in the front. Food, bar, people great. If you go to this place request a view. Not enough parking. But all in all we had a nice vacation

Awesome value for location

For the location/price, this hotel is a great value. Some people complain about the rooms, but they are lacking perspective. You get a clean room next to the beach and it does not smell, all for less than $100 a night.

The customer service was great

I was there for a multi-year high school reunion. Great location, great price on the room, the staff was very attentive to my needs - towels, etc. even though I did not want them to clean the room. [...]. The restaraunt is in a great location on the marina but it's a bit pricey.

Mediocre

No airport shuttle No continental or other breakfast Noisy room (rattling window air conditioner) and outside bum-bum boxes all night To top it all, found a large blood bed-bug stain on sheets
