Courtyard by Marriott Fort Lauderdale Beach

This hotel has a great location. Room overlooked the beach. Clean rooms and pleasant staff! The pool isn't spectacular, however the beach is right across the street so you can't ask for any better! Walked to all the action which was couple blocks! The happy hour was great!

This was our first trip to Ft. Lauderdale and we had a great time. When I was planning our trip, my one requirement was to find a hotel on the beach. The Courtyard by Marriott Ft. Lauderdale Beach is in a great location between the AIA and Seabreeze Blvd, not far from the intersection of Las Olas Blvd. We spent a lot of time on the beach, which is easily accessed from the hotel. We ate at several of the nearby restaurants and had great meals and service. Our room didn't face the ocean, but the view we had was still great (intercoastal waterways and the city#. We left the hotel every morning for some site seeing #Everglades tour, Hugh Taylor Birch State Park, Hillsboro lighthouse, etc.) and returned to swim in the pool or hang out on the beach. Our experience with the hotel staff was great...especially with a couple of the ladies on the housekeeping staff who were super accomodating and sweet to our kids.

The sunrise every day is something to look forward to. The hotel is a bit dated. The elevators painfully slow and "close". Very quiet rooms and comfortable bed. Air systems very nice, spacious room, nice bathroom (shower only/fine with me). I will return. Restaurant dated and boring. Small pool. Right on the beach, location location location. Parking right next door $15/day. At 10 am or so they cover the meter and collect cash for parking, buy day passes from meter after six pm or early In am.

I went to Fort Lauderdale over the past week and stayed at this hotel. It was right next to the beach which was the perk i enjoyed the most. Other than pro, everything else was pretty much what you to come to expect at this type of hotel. Not bad, not overly amazing either. I would stay here again.

Staff is excellent, very friendly and helpful at all times. Good location on the strip, was on a business trip so didn't get to take advantage of the beach or pool but they sure seemed beautiful!

Looking for a warm place by the water and nearby restaurants without having to rent a car, my girl friend and I (in our 70s) were delighted with the Courtyard Marriott Beach hotel. We especially loved an oceanfront room (almost like a suite) on the 4th floor, the pool and sun deck, walking the beach, cozy places to sit, and the proximity to beach, a variety of restaurants, and the water taxi (10-14 min. away) for a day seeing all of Ft. Lauderdale. Highly recommend the Coconuts and G&B joint- restaurants 3 minutes away across Seabreeze. Only negative was no flexibility on checking out after 11, and the apparent over-booking on Friday night. But best: size of room & Location! location!! Close to everything!!!

This hotel was in a great ocean front location amidst reasonably price shop and restaurants including the Elbow Room and Bubba Gump. We enjoyed the sun deck overlooking the beach and the over-sized chess board. Rooms were clean and updated. The only negative would have to be that the window did not open and there were no balconies.

We had a very nice experience with this hotel. The staff was friendly, the rooms were super clean, and we were in walking distance of everything. We would definitely stay there again.

Great view of the ocean...very nice beach area....good place to walk and enjoy the ocean.....nice pool/bar area....great breakfast buffet......and next door to Bubba Gumps....employees very nice....stayed there before our cruise...worked perfectly!!!!!!
