Comfort Suites Airport & Cruise Port

Just needed a place to stay over night for a morning flight. Tons of great dining within walking distance, free shuttle to and from airport. Great value for the price.

Three night stay to participate at a conference at the Convention Center. The location is convenient to restaurants, shops. Convention center is a 15 min walk. The place including my room was clean. Hospital staff was not friendly. The hotel shuttle took 40 min to arrive at the airport, when it is only a 10 min ride. I waited long at the reception to register while one staff member went on break. They offer shuttle service to airport/convention center nearby, but this has to be arranged a day in advance and only is possible at limited times. Breakfast is served in the morning, but do not expect to get anything one minute earlier or later than at the stated times. The room is noise with loud A/C and street noise. On the good side, there is a business corner with functioning computer and printer. Wifi was good. There is a well equipped exercise room. Overall -- the stay was ok. But in view of the fairly high price for a weekend night, I had expected more.

An OK place to stay for a night before and/or after a cruise ship experience - the building is older, the interior hallway carpet and paint is dated, but the rooms are clean and comfortable. The beds seem to be pretty new. The bathrooms are clean and the flat screen TV gives enough channel selections to be OK, and the AC works. It has a nice outdoor pool. It has the worlds slowest elevators but is only 2 miles from Ft. Lauderdale airport and only a mile or so from the cruise ship terminal located on the main drag north/south through Ft. Lauderdale. The owners seem to be fixing the place up (slowly) and It's convenient. A standard breakfast of yogurt, eggs, cereal, juices, pastries and coffee. Everything in the area is overpriced and this looked like a decent value for what we needed (a stop over place between the ship and final destinations). The staff is friendly and gives good suggestions on local things to do and see and restaurants to visit. Not far from downtown and some very nice restaurants. Would I stay there again? Maybe / Maybe not - I would prefer some place with a view but sometimes the budget takes over and this place works just fine for that. Shuttle to the airport, shuttle to Port Lauderdale. Place to stash you luggage before checking in.

I presented my printed travel confirmation at check in only to be told they didn't have my reservation and since it was 3rd party, there was nothing they could or would do. I called the booking site and the customer service folks went into action. The hotel somehow "found" my reservation and I proceeded to a room so dirty the toilet hadn't even been flushed. Disgusting! The A/C unit was almost non functioning and staff was rude. They also refused to give me a statement at check out and said I would have to get one from the booking site as it was a 3rd party reservation. Terrible service...

Relaxing, friendly staff, easy access to everything to enjoy my trip.

The staff was super friendly. We were not in the hotel much. Did allot of sightseeing. Falling asleep was rough. Allot of police sirens going off.

We booked this , as they stated free shuttle from airport and to the cruise dock. This turned out to be not worth the trouble, as we waited 90 minutes at airport for the shuttle, to the hotel....well worth a $30 cab. Then the shuttle to the cruise ship.....so many suitcases. my small suitcase was on the bottom and it bent the handles, where it now I am not able to extend the handle the whole way. To the airport at the end of out cruise, I refused the shuttle, even though they tried to corral us into one.....We got a private taxi which was cheaper and more efficient. The breakfast was terrible! Eggs were sitting out for hours, help was not helpful....had to wait on yourself, food was cold....Sorry, it is a great location, but will not stay here again. The help did not seem to want to help us at all. I waited to check in for 30 minutes, while a man on a ladder was fixing electronics above the poor clerk. You need to lower your prices or upgrade your sevices....In confidence....hope this is helpful. I also work in the service industry and do not like to complain, but there was only one person scheduled at the front desk when we checked in, and this is unaccepatble. She did her very best, but she is trying to accomadate 8 people plus answer phones etc.....You can do better than this for the price you charged us.....A complete rip off.

I was there to help my brother who is ill. This was my second time to stay since middle of May. I will probably be staying again some time in June again,hopefully. Everyone there was very helpful & friendly!

We had to wait for a while to be picked up at the airport. After that, all went well. We checked in in two minutes, and were in our room one minute later. The room was really nice,spacious, clean, and efficient. Ammenities were within walking distance, and the neighbourhood was nice. All told, it was a pleasureable experience

I don't knowhow this place hada decent rating it was dirty and staff could care less. for $187 a night it should have been do much nicer than it was . tolets diden't flush and when we complained the staff said too bad youalready paid. So I won't pay ahead of time again.
