Super 8 Daytona Beach/Speedway Area

location was great but hotel was over priced . I was just passing through and wanted to see bike week.

This facility leaves a lot to be desired. Like all others in Daytona Beach at this time of the year, it charges exhorbitant rates because they know they'll get it. They have a captive audience. But this one is old and with few amenities. You can go only a little further away, get a newer facility that's cleaner and more modern, and get a much better value for your money for the same price. Here, lightbulbs are missing, I saw a roach in my room, and piles of trash bags line the outdoor breezeways because the dumpster is overfull. Choose this as a last resort - no pun intended, because it sure isn't one.

Its way too cheap, as well as the hotel conditions. Staff not so helpful nor willing to help you.

didn't have my reservation, stuck me in a handicap room that smelled like 10 pounds of disinfectant, a/c didn't work, tv didn't work... I decided not to try the shower or the napkin-size towels

disgusting at best! room was dirty,fridge dirty,smelly,spilled food left inside.cupboards very dirty.tv only 4 or 5 channels,no wi-fi signal.room had bad order,a/c would only work by pulling plug in and out of wall.bathroom also dirty and falling apart.would not stay here again for free!

Well it was really really bad. The hotel was dirty the room was very bad. The air conditioner was smashed up didnt work properly and was full of mold and dirt. The toilet leaked and then cloggled. When i asked for someone to come unclog it they showed up at my door with a plungger for me to do it. I WILL NEVER STAY THERE AGAIN AND I WILL MAKE SURE TO LET EVERYONE I KNOW HOW BAD IT WAS. It was so bad we checked out after one night and found a new hotel. Oh and there were a dozen broken air conditoners int the breezeway just sitting there piled on each other. God knows what was living in there. Stay away people unless your desperate

It was located close to were we needed to be and it was average nothing spectaular. But it was clean and had nice landscaping and pool area. We would stay there again.

The staff was excellent, the sliding window in the room would not close or lock & they immediately repaired it. The room was very old & not maintained very well. The tube faucets leaked & the handled to switch the water from tube to shower kept falling off. The bath exhaust fan didn't work. Several light bulbs were out. The electrical plugs needed replacing, the hair dryer was an electrical hazard, tile & tube in very bad condition & needs replacing, stains on the bathroom floor tile. The lobby was nice. The pool well maintained. They had great coffee in the lobby 24/7. The WIFI was not available in the room so had to go to lobby to use - not a problem but it was extremely slow. The room I was in has not been remodeled in a long time. I guess you get what you pay for. I didn't pay a lot for this room so I guess I was satisfied with what I got for the money. It was just guys staying & it was fine for us. I would not bring my wife to stay there.

Was at desk checking in when another guest came in and had desk clerk call police, that was not a good sign. Rooms are in bad shape needs renovation again. will not stay there again. Price is not everthing.
