Affordable family fun in Florida
The Sun Viking Lodge is just a short walk away from the Atlantic Ocean; this family-oriented hotel offers all the amenities that guests need for a fun stay. The family-run, traditional hotel boasts its own heated indoor pool and outdoor poolas well as a 60 ft waterslide for the kids to enjoy. There is a fitness room and sauna for the adults to enjoy, and the hotel also offers plenty of business facilities, including complimentary Wi-Fi, local calls, computer access and printing facilities. There are several restaurants, shops and bars nearby for a day out or enjoy a picnic in the hotel. In addition, there are barbeque facilities for evenings spent socializing with other guests.

grandmother and mom
fabulous family getaway!!!
We had a fabulous time. This is a great place for a family with children. I took my grandkids who live in Florida and they want to go back next year!! I will.

every restaraunt you could want is within 20 minutes. Great shopping mall also in this area. Supermarket right down the street.

July 4th weekend
The hotel building was older but overall it was nice. We stayed in the Two room suites with two young children. The food form the Kafe was delicious! Kids loved the slide. They had activities for all ages that was fun like bingo, balloon toss, penny dive in the pool. Rooms facing the road could use better insulation to block out the noise from the road below in the suites. But overall we had a great time and our kids were wore out everyday from keeping busy. We will definitely be back.

Sun Viking Inn
Daytona 500 2011
The hotel was quaint and clean. Most of the staff were friendly and knowledgeable when answering questions. Housekeeping was hospitable and made you feel welcome. The beds are soft and they could upgrade their pillows.For not knowing what to expect from Daytona FL it turned out to be an adventurous fun trip!

Friendly down to earth place

Does not like bikers...
I made a reservation through [...]on Dec 12, 2010. On Dec 30, 2010 I received a call from [...]to tell me that the manager of the hotel called them to let me know that they do not allow people with motorcycles to stay at their cottages. I had already paid for a week during bike week and was left high and dry. I will never stay at this hotel again nor will I recommend it to anyone. As a matter of fact I intend to lodge a complaint with the BBB since no where on their website do they mention their biker unfriendly stance. By the way, I don't have a loud bike nor do I raise cane as some of the young folks do. This hotel's policy is discriminatory and best.

A nice place
We only stay 1 nigth, the staff was very nice, the room was fine, nothing like woow, but comfortable and clean, both swimming pools are perfect, and about the location is a few minutes away of everything. We had a great time.
