Ocean Shore Resort

Sadly this was the worst hotel I have ever arrived to. I went to Daytona with my kids for the weekend and booked this room based on economy and the photos didn't seem bad. Upon checking in and entering the room, the smell noted heavy "MOLD". Walking further into the room, the smell got stronger and the mold was visible in the corners, around the doors and the a/c vent. My daughter then examining the bathroom noticed the towels hanging on the rack were wet. We never even let our bags touch any furniture or floors, instead we checked the beds just to rule everything out and just as suspected - bugs in the bed!!! I can't express how disgusted I was. Without a second thought, I quickly gathered my kids and our things and went to the front desk to cancel our stay and ironic enough, there was also someone else there doing the same. One good thing is that the two guys at the front desk were very nice, extremely understanding and helpful. I feel bad that they represent such a hazardly kept hotel. I definitely cannot in good conscience recommend this hotel. It is not sanitary by any means - needs a complete overhaul. Until then, please heed my warning...don't book here - there are plenty of hotels in Daytona!

Parking was a hastle. Hotel was overall ok

we went here to spend a short weekend at the beach without spending slot, the checkin needs work even though we had prepaid on [...]. Our first room was yucky dirty and smelly. What made it better was they moved us to an oceanfront room that was great. Not greatest place we have stayed at, but so happy that they kept the price in relation to the quality, while everyone else in the area spiked it for the holiday. Good job Ocean Shores! Will be back.

THE FLOORS WHERE DIRTY THERE WAS NO FRIDGE IN OUR ROOM THE OUTLETS DID NOT WORK PILLOWS WHERE NAST THERE WAS NO WAY TO GET ON THE BEACH BESIDE WALKING DOWN TO THE DRIVEWAY ON THE NEXT BLOCK..FOR A PLACE BEING ON THE BEACH I WAN TO BE ABLE TO WALK FROM THE POOL OF THE HOTEL TO THE BEACH NOT DOWN THE STREET AND AROUND THE CORNER..I WILL NEVER STAY HERE AGIN IN MY LIFE WOULD RATHER SLEEP IN MY CAR

Booked this hotel for two night but only ended up staying one. It was the worst hotel room that I have ever seen. Room was dirty, beds not made properly, TV didn't work, neighbors were drunk and loud all night long, no towels left in the room, and we had ANTS!!! Will never stay here again.

This was the absolute worst hotel i have ever seen. the carpet had holes in it and burn marks, the a/c grill was falling the comforters had cigarette burns in it the paint was chipping, and too top it all off the toilet overflowed and when i called down to the front desk the guy said he would be right up 20 minutes later we were still waiting. he never ended up coming so we had enough and went and asked for our money back and went and got a room somewhere else. silver beach club is a very nice hotel thats where we ended up staying.

ok was a little dirty but great view of the beach.

The carpet was dirty and stinky. The room smelled unsanitary. We did not let our feet touch the floor. No coffee maker in the room, but there was a coffee packet, No microwave, and no fridge, The bathroom and linen were clean.

Great place. We were in an Ocean front room with balcony. Which was not even in the plans. We had such a good time we stayed an extra night[...]. Yes it is an older hotel, but the room was very clean, bed was very comfortable.
