Our 1 queen room was quite small, but sufficient for our needs; very clean and appeared to be recently remodeled; TV but no DVD player; no freezer in frig; quiet A/C was a plus. Staff very friendly and helpful. Wide selection for breakfast. We extended our stay another night and were given an even better rate. Too busy to use the pool, but it looked lovely. Highly recommend.

Our business took us to the Ocean Center and Ocean Walk area, full of shops, restaurants and movies right next to the beach. Convenient parking garage with walkway to the shops. Right for all ages.

Friendly beach getaway
The woman at the front desk was a delight. She was very friendly and let me check in early! The room was comfortable, clean, and the beds and pillows were very comfortable. The view was wonderful and the hotel was very close to the pier and some of the clubs. Great stay!

ARE YOU KIDDING ME
Have you ever went to a hotel and thought to yourself " I really don't have a good felling about this" Trust your instinct's. The room we reserved was not the one they tried to give us. Rooms are nothing like the pictures. Pass this one by!!

The Nanny
Just a trip
The hotel is in kind of a dead spot in Daytona, but with the bus system, it's easy to get around. We found that getting to Main St. and Ponce Inlet were very easy from the hotel. It is a quick 1 mile walk to the Top of Daytona Restaurant and The Shores Hotel which has a GREAT restaurant inside with a couple of bonfires on the beach. The view from every room is spectacular (faces southeast) and perfect for the sunrise.

If you're in town with a special someone, head down to The Shores hotel (1 mile south) for a moonlit coctail beside the bonfire.

Rolex 24 getaway
Upsides: Rooms clean updated and comfortable, which is hard to find in Daytona beach, land of the awful hotel, and solid hot breakfast in morning was included. Downsides: pets, no hiding the fact this is an older building, and unusually young (noisy) patrons - Friday night was loud and late. Hotel staff was average.

Perfect getaway
I really enjoyed my stay here. We stayed there this time last year while they were remodeling and were eager to see the upgrades. Beautiful changes. The rooms have a more modern look and are very comfortable. The staff was very friendly and helpfull. I will stay here everytime I'm in Daytona Beach.

Remodeled Gem
This hotel has undergone an extensive renovation and it shows. The furnishings were high end and very comfortable. The rooms were spotless, the sheets and towels clean and white and new. I had problems with my original room air conditioner and I was promptly moved to a new room. The staff were falling all over themselves to be helpful. The breakfast was better than most hotel breakfast bars and it includes hot eggs and sausage. There was a full time breakfast attendant so it stayed clean. I have seen some of the negative reviews of this hotel and I can't believe these people stayed at the same place I did. Two small complaints. One, the balcony doors have not been replaced yet and they are hard to get open or closed. Second, the outside walkways are dark at night due to sea turtle nesting area light restrictions. Parking was no problem. This rehab is a step above the ordinary.

Room not cleaned daily
They don't clean the rooms daily . I was there 3 days and the bed was made daily but neither the room or bathroom was cleaned at all.
