Vibrant Daytona oceanfront resort offers sun, sand and entertainment
Beach-lovers flock to this lively resort a few miles north of the Daytona strip. This is a quieter part of the beach, but no less vibrant when the live entertainment kicks up poolside. Worst night sleep ever in a hotel!!!
The review for the hotel stated oceanview from every room. We had an ocean view but you had to look really hard to see it! Our room overlooked a parking lot and was also right next to the elevator. The toilet handle had to be held down to flush the toilet and if you didn't push the handle back up it would keep flushing. The air conditioning also did not work. The air that it blew out never did cool the room. It was very hot being in Florida and trying to sleep without air conditioning. We reported this information to the front desk when we checked out and all they said was "O.K.". We will be returning to Daytona Beach as our son is in college there but we will NEVER stay here again and I would not recommend it to ANYBODY!!!

The Ocean Deck was a very good place to eat. Plenty of food, oceanfront atmosphere, and very relaxed environment. My son loved it! Eating here was the best part of our trip.

should have ben better getaway
it was noisy at night the slidingdoor jumped of the track it was hard too close and my arm hurt for days after i thought that check in time was at 10:40 had to wait for 2 to three hr for a room

The greatest Proposal Man
Fiance Loved it.
Overall great. But after going to an hotel the following day for little cheaper and much better it doesn't compare one bit. The pool was great they allowed us to stay much later than the posted 9pm. close time. The bathroom was a bit small for 2ppl but the added kitchen was a great look. Lil side not my fiance and I got kick out of the receptionist b/c it was a dude who was trying real hard to be a woman. Mad funny.

Great place to stay!
[...] at the front desk was first class! Very knowledgeable and friendly and professional. We needed our TV fixed as the picture was not clear and [...] called someone to help us and he appeared within 2 minutes and fixed the problem!

There is a Publix grocery store as well as a Subway and a bowling alley and arcade right across the street! Also Ruby Tuesday and Walgreens are right across the street too!

Very old, very dirty, never maintained, next step is to blow it up and build a new one The pricelevel 160$/night is rediculus for that standard. Should be maximum 30$/night

low price, you get what you pay for
We spent ten days here, tiki bar was only open four of those days. Hotel description very misleading. We spent all of our time next door at the Grand Seas Resort(beautiful and lots of fun). We will be staying there next time.
