Short Stay Student
Overstated
The hotel, not resort, disappointed me. It was clean, but I would come in after a hard day of classes and it would smell like a dead animal was in there. The door conecting my room to the room next door had a large separation and everything they cooked, said, burped or farted was heard and smelled in my room. The staff was friendly, but thats the best I could say about them. Way too noisy late into the night.

Finding fast food and drive thrus are not easy to find on Atlantic Ave. A drive to the other side of the river parralle to the strip, on Ridgeway will give you everything you want to find.

Beautiful view of ocean!
Balcony on the ocean - fantastic. Enjoyed bacony. Rooms were okay. No daily room service for 2 of the 3 days. Had to call desk for clean towels. All the electrical outlets in the room were in bad shape - all plugs would fall out of outlet. A safety hazard. Bathroom was clean but in bad shape with ceramic tile coming off and tub that could not drain quickly.

Cheap view of the ocean
All the rooms at this hotel are facing the ocean. This is one of the reasons I chose this hotel since I wouldn't have to pay extra to not stare at the parking lot. The room was adequate, although renovations were needed. There were black marks on the cealing, the bathroom needed repainting badly, the door was extremely difficult to shut and lock, and one of the washing machines was broken.

Not bad
We relaxed and enjoyed the beach. There were volleyballs, and other games for the kids that were free just by checking them out at the office. The staff was excellent! The hotel just looked nothing like the brochure and when we mentioned it they said oh that was taken from the beach front. That really should have been advertised because when we got there we thought - this can't be it! But all in all it wasn't bad. No bugs and the room was clean. Elevator was stinky like people had been smoking in it or something.

Has it's ups and downs
Unbelievable view of the ocean! Very nice staff and a very nice pool as well. Pretty good location as well... close to a couple souvenier shops, grocery shop and mini golf courses. The mini-kitchen and full size fridge also was very useful. The bathroom, however, needs a MAJOR update. It is almost too small to fit in and all there is is a stand alone toilet. Not too clean as well. Everything was very nice including the staff. Would definitely reccomend to anyone else.

Decent Hotel
Overall, for the price it was a good choice. The whole hotel just really needs to be repainted. It was pretty clean and the kitchenette and free continental breakfast were nice perks. The towels were a joke (the pool towels were about 1'X 2' and all the towels (bath towels included) were very poor quality. The mattress was quite comfortable, so we slept well. Overall I would rate this hotel as more of a 2 1/2 than a 3 as the website categorized it, but again, certainly a good value for an oceanfront room.

Great view but room was run down
It was great being right on the water & having the great view but the room and hotel is outdated and run down. The carpets felt sticky, the bathroom was disgusting and everything outside was dirty and rusty. You get what you pay for.
