Days Inn Daytona Beach Downtown

Me and my wife took our first anniversary vacation to Dayton Beach, Florida with the intention of travelling around Dayton Beach and nearby places. Since we only wanted a place to crash at the night, we thought that this would be a good place. There's really nothing wrong with the place, but it was just the wrong choice for us. Need to look for better options next time!!! But if this is how all Days Inn outlets are going to be, then I think we would consider going back to Courtyard or Fairfield by Mariott!!!

I stayed at this hotel for a few days .It was clean and comfortable, i also think for the price you get your monies worth. Most of all what make this hotel so good was the stay the were very friendly and nice and try whatever they could to make the guests felt comfortable.

We stayed in this hotel while in the area for the final shuttle launch. The staff was accomodating. The location on US-1 was perfect for our excursion to Titusville. The linens seemed to be quite old but were clean. The continental breakfast could hardly be called breakfast. There was cereal with no milk, the orange juice was mostly water, but the coffee was hot. If you are only looking for a clean place to sleep then this place fits the bill.

I was in Daytona for the Nascar FanFest. The room was clean. I didn't realize a train track was so close to the hotel. It was running all hours of the night. The ice machine did not work.

Very nice for the price. About 2 miles to the beach. My friends were staying at the Hilton so I had a place to go, but when alcohol and beaches are mixed it is nice to be able to just walk to your room. However I paid $50.00 a night for my hotel and they paid over 200 for theirs. For the same price per person they had to pack 4 into theirs with stuff strewn around the room and they had to cool their drinks in the bathtub. My room was spacious and had a microwave and fridge and I was able to get more sleep without all of the partying late into the night. It felt like a safe haven. They did have great ocean view and 4 star amenities, but this Days Inn was perfect for what I wanted it for. Sleeping. If you want to rest and do it cheap, this will do. Its only 2 miles from the beach. Pool is very small. Parking fills fast so if you come back late you may have to park in front.

I choose this hotel for my Daytona stay because it had good ratings. It was a total disappointment. The best thing about the hotel was the location. On the other hand the worst thing about the hotel was the staff. They were extremely rude and uninterested in making my stay @ their place of business pleasant. One of the staff members suggested that on top of my pre payment I pay an additional 10 dollars for any visitors. In other words NO VISITORS! Had they expressed this @ the time of booking (via internet) I would have chosen someplace else for my out of town boyfriend and I to have a cozy weekend. I believe they assumed we were in town to partake in the spring break festivities… Unfortunately we had no idea of the local activates and were merely there to enjoy each other. We like to travel and don't mind staying in a Days Inn here or there, but when we return to Daytona it will not be with any intentions to stay in this facility.

The location of the hotel was pretty good. The carpet was dirty, the room had a bad odor, we had to leave the air on to tolerate the smell. The air conditioner was noisy which made it hard to sleep. I would not stay there again.
