BEST WESTERN PLUS International Speedway Hotel

I stayed at the Best Western for opening weekend of Bike Week 2013. Due to lack of selection since I only required a one night stay and most hotels required 3+, the Best Western looked like the best choice. The Location was great, right off of 95 and close to restaurants. The Room was much nicer then expected. It was a very nice size, had nice updated TV and bathroom, and everything was clean. There was a nice continental breakfast served in the morning. Staff was very nice. Pool is HUGE! one of the largest I have seen at a hotel. Highly recommend and would stay again without a second thought.

IT WAS SUPPOSED TO BE HOLIDAY INN EXPRESS. I DROVE AROUND FOR 30 MINUETS LOOKING FOR IT. KIND OF MADE ME MAD.

The rooms were ok, but the hinges were all rusted, the walls were thin and the internet slower than 3G.

Friendly workers and environment. The breakfast was hot and tasty. Only major problem was the room wasn't clean as well as I thought it should have been. Clean towels does not equal a clean room. My bed wasn't even made. The sink wasn't swiped down and the bathroom floor wasn't cleaned. The next day I pulled the sheets off the bed and decided that if the room wasn't clean properly then I would say something. My issue is that I shouldn't have had to speak with anyone about basic

This is one of those 'you get what you pay for' kind of places. I don't agree with the rating that was advertised. I n my opinion this hotel is more of a 1 star than a 2.5 to 3 star! That includes both the staff and the facilities.

Was at this hotel to attend the NASCAR race at Daytona. The property was not originally a Holiday Inn Express. It was a referbished old Holiday Inn. It was adaquet but, it was not the product I expected from Holiday Inn Express.

The hotel is old and refurbished some time ago. It was fairly clean. The bathroom had old fixtures and terrible shower pressure.

The staff was very friendly and polite. The hotel itself was in great condition. The pool and athletic facilities are amazing! From relaxing to the pool, going for a quick run, and popping next door to the daytona ale house for a bite to eat, this location had everything I was looking for. I especially liked that after hours the front sliding doors are locked except for guests. It is very safe and you can sleep easy knowing you are staying here. The sheets and bed cover were very clean, there are no old bedspreads, just white linens. The pillows were great, the bed was comfortable, and the cable tv had so many channel choices! Overall, this is a great hotel and I would definitely stay there again.

It was clean and no ploblems at all during the time I was there.

Obviously, this is an older hotel, however; the hotel management could do better with the upkeep. The carpeting is very dirty. It's in need of thorough cleaning. Also, I woke up to find ants crawling on my night stand. Essentially, if your are looking for a reasonable priced hotel for a quick stay then it may be ok depending on your personal opinion of what you may look for in a hotel. It's definately not any where that I would select for a vacation hotel (spend the extra money for a better room and move on). This hotel is overpriced for it to be unkept (personal opinon). The best thing about the hotel was the front desk staff.
