Good Value on the beach
large pool, good view of beach from room, plenty of parking, had trouble parking our 18 foot trailer even though they say they have RV parking ( changed foot requirement because of Bike week but didnt let us know ahead of booking )

My only complaint..
They have a happy hour from 5:30pm to 6:30pm at the inside bar... Who wants to be inside? Include the tiki bar by the pool in happy hour! Vince the tiki bar bar tender is awesome! Other than that, great staff and great hotel!!

Make it a party by the pool at the hotel! Food is great, drinks are good and not insanely priced, and the staff is great! You can enjoy your night and don't have to worry about driving!

Comfortable & Clean Hotel
The room and bathroom were both well cleaned, and the bed comfortable. We had an ocean/beach view and balcony. Parking was easy and only a couple of miles from the main area of Daytona beach (though not quite sure where the centre is?) We just stayed one night as a stopover and left early the next morning so didn't use the restaurant. There are other eating options available in the town including an OK Greek restaurant.

Basic Florida beach hotel
This is an older but generally well-maintained hotel with a pleasant staff; our only complaint was the dampness in the room. Even though the a/c ran very cool, the room never really dried out...my husband and I woke up on dank sheets and with stuffy heads, from the dampness. Other than that, the room was attractive and clean (with a micro/fridge and coffee maker included); the pool area is quite nice (if you can take the REALLY loud bar music), and the breakfast buffet in the attached restaurant was nothing special, but certainly filling. The beach was lovely, of course! Please note: An oceanVIEW room is not the same as an oceanFRONT room. But, unless you like loud music, you might want to pass on the poolside rooms...then again, maybe my husband and I are just a couple of geezers! You might like being right where the action is.

Last minute family getaway
This was a very nice place to stay. Kids enjoyed ameneties including free breakfast every morning, ping pong, shuffle board, and of course the pool and easy access to the beach. We had a nice view from both sides of the hotel. The staff was laid back and accomodating. It isnt in the center of all the bars and shops just about 2 miles away which is nice for families. Hotel is older needs some updating and the 5th floor has some smoking rooms which makes it smell bad. I would advise not to stay on that floor if you don't like smoke! Overall, wehad a great time and really enjoyed our stay. We would go back again.

The Ocean Deck was a cool place to dine or party! It was right on the ocean and had a live band and awesome drinks! Definetly check it out if you are in Daytona!

Nice stay in Daytona
Room was very clean. Excellent access to beach. Would have rated at the top for staff but 1 guy in bar was really rude about the happy hour special which they were advertising. ALL other staff were friendly, helpful and always greeting us with a smile. I will definetly go back if we're in the area again.

Try Down The Hatch a reasonable drive down A1A in Ponce Inlet. Dine by the river outdoors or riverview indoors. Don't miss the fish dip! You may even see porpoises up close at dinner time. Call for their "dining time" in the evening.
