Gr8 location, price but reactive not pro
The hotel itself, the location and the ppl were great but housekeeping wasn't up to par in my book. I didn't have all of the toilettries that I had come to expect at this level of hotels. Had to ask the front desk for several things besides the shower gel etc. Overall, the experience was nice, I love DC and as a representative of it, they did a good job.

Close to the zoo, staff is pretty helpful but when we asked for things, like a wine opener, took a long time. Hotel bar is nice

Beautiful scenery and easy metro access
On visit to see my son who is in college. The outside scenery was unbelievably beautiful with spring flowers every where on the hotel grounds. Hotel outside the tight downtown but was easily accessible to the metro and other forms of transportation. Very large hotel with friendly service. The rooms could be larger and the sound barrier between room was not very good. I would probably stay here again but would request possibly a different area of the hotel. Maid service and concierge etc. were great. Love the surrounding shops and restaurants also

Very nice restaurants inside hotel and in close proximity to hotel. An extremely diverse selection of restaurants as well. It was nice to have a CVS store close by as well.

Great Family Getaway
Great location!!!!!! Very close to Metro. Rooms were comfortable. Breakfast buffet was delicious and varied.....since it was included in cost of room the very best I had.

Area restaurants were not kid friendly. However, Union Station was a few stops away on the red line.

Good Experience
The hotel is literally accross the street from the Metro Station. It is huge, modern and clean. The rooms are comfortable. The only complaint is that the toiletries were not replenished.

Great historic hotel
Great location! Metro right next door. Nice little restaurants on the block. Good food at hotel restaurants. Very clean. Had to pay for wi fi in the room. Staff worked upon our midnight arrival to get us 2 bedroom suite first night because [...] somehow had four of us in 2 connecting rooms arriving on different days.very nice suite in original section.

Great location and spcious surrounding
We came to DC to attend grandparent day at the children's school close by. It was the perfect location. We had fun with the three grandchildren at the zoo and the several eateries near by.

Great Location
Great hotel. Huge, but not overwhelming.They even got us into a room in the morning, well before regular check-in. Well-equipped gym. What it has most going for it is location. It is up a hill from the Woodley Park metro stop, along with great Woodley Park and Adams Morgan restaurants. Would like to see complimentary wireless internet.

Open City- great cafe/coffeehouse/bar. We found it to be family-friendly. The coffee is amazing!
