Althouh it is in great location and the staff are ver friendly the place is being remodeled and it is noisy dusty ans messy.

HOTEL UNDER CONSTRUCCION...
THE HOTEL IS RENOVATING... I THINK IT SHOULD HAVE BEEN A GOOD IDEA TO TELL CLIENTS... THE ENTRANCE WAS A MESS... WATER WAS TAKEN AWAY... LOTS OF NOISE... ROOMS ARE NICE... BREAKFAST IS REALY BAD...

DC trip
First time in DC. Did not know what to expect. Hotel is close to the Metro and that is the best way to get around if you are from out of town. Nice staff, very small front reception, but rooms were nice. No attached dining but options were close.

Good Location, Friendly Staff!
This hotel exceeded my expectations. The hotel staff was one of the friendliest staff's I've ever encountered and i have stayed at alot of hotels all around the world. The furniture in the living room was out-dated but everything else in the room was perfect. Good location, close to the metro and alot of the tourist spots. Would definately recommend to others. Excellent value.

Long walk from hotel
Plan your route to all the attractions before you start wondering around. There is alot of walking in DC and if you plan your route first you can save yourself alot of time.

Bargain Price for Great Location
The hotel was located centrally between the Georgetown area and downtown Washington, D.C. The room was very spacious and cozy, with more than enough amenities. The grocery store right around the corner made eating in a less expensive option, as well. The price for the hotel was extremely competitive for other hotels in the area. Highly recommended. Especially for younger people looking to stay in D.C. for a weekend getaway.

Does the job
The convenience of the Georgetown location was the best thing about this motel. Rooms were spacious and clean, but had seen better days. The room/s reserved for online customers (i.e., the "bargain" suite/s) were obviously in the worse area of the motel: ground floor, directly next to a bathroom, and the motel entrance directly beside the street-side window.

DC Adventure
We two Grandparents and 4 grandchildren had a great te at the Doubletree. Room was outstanding ( suite, a king and two queens) . Staff was over the top great! Drawbacks were hotel is not that close to the sites and no real resturants in the area. This is certainly not the hotels fault. Would definitely stay there again.

A terrific hideaway in a great neighborhood
A comfortable, convenient and affordable DC property. Staff are welcoming and well-trained. Rooms are spacious and well-equipped, with plenty of electric sockets for all of your gadgets. Huge comfortble bed. Charming neighborhood close to the Metro and good restaurants.

Doubketree Hotel and amenities were average. Had to change rooms because of pungent odor and inoperative television.
