Memorial Day Getaway
The staff was fairly accomodating. We were told to park our car in the garage before unloading the car, which left us to do it ourselves without a luggage cart. Once in the lobby, none of the staff was around to help us load a luggage cart, so once again, we did that ourselves. We contacted the front desk both nights to request a taxi to be called for us, and both nights we were lucky enough to hail one ourselves. I enjoyed the hotel itself, but the staff was not proactive in making sure we were taken care of.

Before booking a hotel in another city, try to google whatever you planned on doing there. Whether that be shopping, dining, or nightlife... the shorter the distance means less money on transportation and more on the things you want to do!

Good Value
It is a fantastic hotel considering its rate. The service is good. Staff friendly. Even though it is a little bit further from the nearest metro station, the hotel has shuttle bus to take you there. I will absolutely stay there again.

This was the best hotel to stay in. Very clean awesome staff quiet area street parking was available and it's not to far from downtown dc definitely will stay again

Great, friendly staff, convenient location

Great weekend in DC
My wife and I spent 3 days at the Savoy and it was great. The staff was very knowledgeable about restaurants and tours. They took great care of us. Clean rooms, great locale, and the tour company picked us right up from the lobby. Best bang for the buck.

Great hotel!
Really nice hotel in the heart of Georgetown. Not as close to monuments and attractions as I'd hoped but very close to bus stops and they offer free shuttle to the metro. Overbooked the first night, so they sent us to another hotel on that night, but the paid our taxi both ways. Upgraded our room for the rest of the stay. Very comfortable tempurpedic mattresses and a really nice room. Staff couldn't have been nicer and more helpful.

Good couple's getaway
Hotel room was clean, but decor was pretty basic. Main downside is location-- the hotel is not near the metro (Woodley Station is closest metro and it's 2 miles away)- the hotel had a shuttle but wasn't terribly convenient.
