Will Stay Again! Great Value

When I heard about all that my hotel suite was offering for such a low room rate of just $159, I thought that I might be disappointed upon arrival. But I was wrong! This hotel was everything it promised including a living room, dining area, kitchen, bathroom, and television. It was spotless, comfortable, and I found absolutely nothing to complain about. The one thing that could be an issue (only if you are staying with a large group) is that when it gets late at night, you need a room key to enter or you have to report your name and room # to the front desk attendant, for safety purposes of course. But this is not an issue unless you are trying to squeeze a bunch of people into one room. All in all, I loved my stay at the Residence Inn and will be guaranteed to stay there next time I go to DC. Did I mention the location was pristine, with a CVS literally attached to the hotel building, plus being situated near K street with all the clubs and restaurants your heart desires. Great Stay!

Weekend Getaway with Friends!

Had a great time! The hotel is only a block and a half from the Metro, about four blocks from the White House! The staff was so friendly and helpful. They gave us really great suggestions for food, clubs, everything! Room was huge and so comfortable! The hotel includes breakfast, which was great. Would definitely stay again!

It was great

We were surprised how spacious it was! It was clean, welcoming, nice inviting decoration, soothing colors, bright. Service was friendly. Staff was courteous and ready to help with smile. I will defintely stay here again. We were in Washington D.C. for parents weekend for GW in October. Hotel is in walking distance to lots of attractions like Smithsonian, various monuments and historic landmarks.

Excellent location, needs updating

The location is superb, close to many restaurants, subway station to get to all the DC National Mall museums and monuments. The rooms need to have the furniture replaced, the material was torn/worn, did not give a good impression. But the room was clean and the staff was excellent, very helpful and friendly. The convenience of having a complete kitchen is great for long stays. Being right next to CVS pharmacy was convenient too,

Spectacular Stay- Just like home

My family, 2 boys ages 9 &12 , and myself visited the DC area as a historical field trip. The Residence Inn is perfectly situated to the Metro & bus lines. The Circulator bus is easily accesible and costs only $1.00 to ride. You are situated in such a great spot that you can see South Lawn of the White House. The Metro (subway) is only $2.70 p/person from Reagan airport to the McPherson exit, you walk 2 short blocks and you're at Residence Inn. The hotel staff is extremely accommodating. There is a 24 hr. CVS Store next door to hotel. The breakfast is fabulous complete w/T.V. & newspaper. The rooms have a stove, microwave & dishwasher. Surprisingly, you also get dishes, cookware & utensils and Cascade to wash the mess.u We will always stay at a Residence Inn when traveling! We only wished it had had a swimming pool. That's why I scored it as a "4" under the amenities category. Although you cannot beat outstanding service & staff. We had a very great time in DC thanks in large part to the great folks at Residence Inn!

Time-saving tip: Long walk from hotel

I highly recommend that you wear comfortable shoes. We used all modes of transportation available: Metro, Circular bus & Old Time Trolley. But you still have to walk to advance to all the great tours & museums DC has to offer.
